3 cards: Happy new year

This time of year I'm always busy making new year cards.
Soon we'll celebrate "Rosh Hashana" (new year of the Jewish calendar), and it's a great opportunity to give (and send) greeting cards.
This week, the challenge +Scrappy Hands is "Peace / Hello"
I created 3 cards. From left to right:
Year of peace & security, Good & sweet year, Year of happiness & health

And here they are separately:

This is my example for something that can be done using bakers twine. For the Jewish calendar New Year's - I created this card, simulating the apple with bakers twine.

I think it's cute (although the apple is not centered **oops**)...

New card: Hexagons

The challenge at Practical Scrappers was to create layouts & cards featuring hexagons.
I created this Happy New Year card (and also this & this) and I enjoyed the result...
I also have this layout with hexagons...
So - what do you say?
By the way - the mess in the left side of the picture is caused by my camera, I think the lens has this blur area.. sorry!

Flags on bakers twine, washi tape cut as flag on one side... Doodling around and greeting stamp..

Yesterday, during a crop night, I created a card for the new Israeli's blog first challenge.

Yes, it's starting...
The new year, by the Jewish calendar, will be celebrated in a month (mid September this year).
I started to create the new year's cards.
In this card I used the "window" technique (like this one) - the apple and the sentiment is part of the greeting that will be written.
The paper I used is from one of my latest stacks: Tishrei Holidays. If you want to purchase, you can found it here.

New card: Shana Tova - כרטיס חדש: שנה טובה

This card was inspired by Ayelet's comment - when she saw the apples in this card (and this also), she suggested to try to adhere the apple on top of the core, instead of the other way around... Not sure if I explained it right, but you can see the differences in the apples...

את הכרטיס הזה יצרתי בהשראת אחת התגובות של איילת: כשהיא ראתה את התפוח בכרטיס הזה (וגם כאן), היא הציעה לנסות להדביקת את התפוח על הליבה שלו, במקום הפוך... מקווה שההסבר ברור - אם לא, מאמינה שהתמונות שוות 1000 מילים :-)

New card: Gmar Chatima Tova - כרטיס חדש: גמר חתימה טובה

Another card for Yom Kipur, Gmar Chatima Tova. Again design is clean and simple.

כרטיס נוסף תוך שימוש בקולקצייה חגי תשרי. כרטיס נוסף ליום הכיפורים - גמר חתימה טובה - אני חושבת שליום הזה מתאים עיצוב נקי ופשוט וגם כאן ניסיתי לא להוסיף יותר מדי ולהשאיר אותו צנוע...

New card: Sorry - כרטיס חדש: סליחה

Another card - don't have much to say about it, I kept the design simple. I used a paper from my new stack.

כרטיס נוסף מהקולקצייה החדשה חגי תשרי - גם לזה צריך (אפשר) כרטיס, לא? העיצוב נקי ופשוט בכוונה, נראה לי הכי הולם את ה"אירוע"...

New card: Shana Tova - כרטיס חדש: שנה טובה

What a surprise - another card for Rosh Ha'Shana, with my new stack of paper.

This time I cut a circle & scallop with my cuttlebug, embossed my sentiment, tied a ribbon with my new "bow easy". The pomegranates paper, matted with the red paper and that's it!

איזו הפתעה - כרטיס שנה טובה נוסף, עם דפים מהקולקצייה: חגי תשרי.

הפעם לקחתי את דף הרימונים הקטנים ועשיתי לו מאטינג עם הדף האדום. מחתיכה אחרת של הדף האדום חתכתי עיגול מסולסל - עליו כתבתי את הברכה והבלטתי בחום, הדבקתי לעיגול לבן - ואת שניהם ביחד הדבקתי עם דבק ספוג לכרטיס. את הסרט קשרתי בעזרת Bow Easy - כמה פשוט, ככה גאוני!

אז חוץ מזה שהתלהבתי לאחרונה מהבלטה חמה - מה יש לכן להגיד לי? ;-)

Another card made from my new stack, with the big apples paper. I adhered it to a red paper to mat it and emphasis the apples and I cut off the paper 1 apple, to adhere in 3D. The sentiment is embossed - Love this technique!

כרטיס נוסף שהכנתי מדפים מהקולקציה החדשה שלי: חגי תשרי - הדף של התפוחים הגדולים מככב... הדבקתי אותו לדף אדום, כדי שידגיש את התפחים עצמם וגזרתי תפוח נוסף והדבקתי אותו בתלת מימד. את הכותרת יצרתי עם אמבוסינג חם - התלהבתי מהשיטה, עוד יותר ממש שאהבתי אותה גם ככה...

This card is very special to me: I have another stack!

I enjoyed creating this card - cutting the squares, rounding 2 opposite corners, double matting, emboss the greeting and adding the paper-pieced apple... Easy to make - impressive result (at least to my opinion)...

הכרטיס הזה מאד מיוחד בעיניי וחשוב לי היות והכנתי אותו מהסטאק החדש שלי: חגי תשרי!

כל כך נהניתי להכין אותו: חתכתי ריבועים, עיגלתי 2 פינות נגדיות של כל ריבוע, עשיתי מאטינג כפול, הבלטתי בחום את הברכה המרכזית והוספתי תפוח בשיטת הפייפר-פיסינג האהובה עלי. קל להכין - תוצאה מרשימה בעיניי...
