2 years ago Yaara & Mor "meditate" on the kitchen countertop, waiting for me to "catch them"... Holding themselves from laughing... I took the camera, like I always do - and took some pictures of my princesses...

New layout: Birthday

I wonder...

Is the counterfeit kit good for me?

On one hand - I like the fact that I use my stash, I love to see the variety of layouts / cards / tags using the same materials and techniques.

On the other hand - it makes it difficult to choose a picture. Colors are pre-selected, so not every picture can fit...

Anyway - this layout is inspired by Stuck sketch from November 15

The picture was taken on Yaara's birthday party with her friends from school. We did a "scrap party" - each girl created her own notebook for the summer vacation...

I think they had a good time.. I hope..

New layout: Point of View

The picture was taken on a swing: Yaara & Mor were standing on it - from both sides and I lied down, looking at the sky, seeing their faces pops :-)

New Layout: Me

I created another layout - but this time with my picture (nice to meet you all :-)), 2 years ago.. I think Mor took this picture (funny, she was 5 years "old"), at my parents house.
I was inspired by October 15th sketch @ Stuck?!
And of course I used my counterfeit kit of October...
I wish I would have time today to create few cards with the leftovers... will see...

New Layout: 2 Dolls

Well, ever since this picture was taken - I have another "doll", but I can still create layouts for my older dolls :-)
In order to bring back the mojo - I looked for a sketch and found the October 1st in Stuck?!
Also, I chose few cardstocks and patterned papers, in order to use them all as much as possible, as counterfeit kit.

New month, new kit, new layout: Master Chef

Are you ready for another month? I am.. :-)
A new inspiration for  a kit was published @ CKC.
I decided to use the papers of one of the kits I have designed, plus few more papers:

As in previous kits, I will select the embellishments while creating the layouts...
I will try to use the same embellishments during the whole month, to challenge myself to create different layouts from same materials...

Anyway - my first layout using this kit, inspired by Stuck Sketches, May 1st sketch:

I sewed hem for a pair of pants and Yaara found the part that I cut-off and put it on her head... Immediately she went to bring her notebook and play restaurant... So... what would you like to order?

New layout: Find the differences

During the last summer I worked from home a lot, mostly on August, because Yaara & Mor didn't have any other arrangement... It's always hard for me, with my full time work, to make them happy, satisfied and not "climbing on the walls" day after day... I have to work - lucky me I have the option to work from home - but they need my attention too... 

Anyway - I don't remember what made us look at this picture, but we decided to try and reproduce it:

I gave them shirts in similar colors. I looked for the same bedding sheet, but I guess it's too old and I threw it away during the last few years. I was the director: Yaara - smile and lift your left foot, Mor - take out your tongue... 

I used April 15 @ Stuck Sketches as inspiration for my layout.

This is the 10th layout with this kit. Here are the other 9... (the first layout link includes the papers I chose for current kit):

New layout: Out of the {bubble}

I'm excited to share this layout.
First - I LOVE this picture... Artistic in a way :-)
Second - I love the combination of colors (again, with my counterfeit kit of April - I hope you're not bored of me using the same papers all over again)...
Third - the embellishments are all stickers, including the title in 2 different fonts...

The story of the picture: We went to the swimming pool (summer of 2010) - for swimming class: Yaara, as a student, and my mother, as the teacher (this is what she does for her living)... I can't remember why Mor didn't join the class that day but we waited together and she played... While she was playing, I played with my camera :-)

Sketch was inspired by April 1st sketch @ Stuck Sketches.

Castlewood Park

This layout was inspired by sketch of September 15th @ Stuck Sketches, it also fits Practical Scrappers challenge: use ribbon:

I used: Sonburn cardstocks, DCWV cardstocks & Chipboard embellishment, ribbon, stapler, Ink It Up! black ink, Sharpie, Deflect-o vynil letters.

Krembo / Negerkuss / Chocolate-coated marshmallow treat

This layout was inspired by 1st January 2010 Sketch @ Stuck?! Sketches:

The title says: Krembo (wikipedia: Hebrew, English)

The journaling says: The desert that comes after dinner in our sukkah... So, what do you eat first: the cream or the biscuit?



I used: My Mind's Eye: Life Stories Antique Flowers & White Peonies papers, Miss Elizabeth's Grey cardstock, Sonburn cardstock, Sharpie, Tim Holtz paper distresser, Ink It Up! black, StazOn jet black, Unity stamp (from Capture Life), grosgrain ribbon.

This layout was created based on Stuck?! Sketches - December 15:
The journaling says: The whole family went down to the park, so you will be happy, have fun and burn some energy... Few minutes prior going home an historical event happened: You agreed that daddy will put you on his shoulders and you even enjoyed it!

I used: DCWV (the Spring & Summer cardstock Stacks, the Spring Chipboard embellishments), Sharpie, Ink It Up! black ink.

This layout was inspired by 1st December sketch @ Stuck?! Sketches:

The title says: Excercise
The journaling says: We went down to the park next to the stadium and you decided to go to excercise. You went through all the facilities and didn't miss a single one!

I used: DCWV Fun in the Sun Summer Stack, Kesem Art hebrew letters, Sharpie, buttons, my very first crochet flowers!!!
