It's been a while.

I had quite a mess in my craft room & my head and I needed some timeout.

I'm not sure what kind of a decision it was - but the moto is "take it easy"

I want to stop chasing after my own tail.

New Tag: Free Spirit

I bought the Julie Nutting - Prima tags (and 2 more stamps) and using my Nov. counterfeit kit - I created this first tag...
I think I have to be more "wild" while creating these tags... It's too simple / clean / gentle... But it's my style, so we'll have to wait and see if I can create something wilder :-)

New layout: Bed Time Story - דף מעוצב חדש: סיפור לפני השינה

וואוו כמה זמן לא כתבתי. מרגיש כמו נצח.

האמת היא שלאחרונה קצת התעייפתי. לא יודעת למה, לא יודעת עד מתי. הרצון נשאר, הביצוע פחות. גם אם אני יוצרת (קורה פחות) - אני פחות מצלמת, ובטח שפחות עורכת את התמונות ומעלה לבלוג.

חבל לי, חסר לי, מקווה למצוא את האנרגיה להמשיך - אבל זה המצב.

ולעניינינו (אחרי פתיחה דרמטית משהו) - לפני שבועיים (?) השתתפתי בסדנת קומונה אצל קרנושי, בהדרכת אילנה... הרעיון של הסדנא היה "לכלוך" (ככה אני קוראת לזה) - שימוש בצבע, בגלימר ובשאר אלמנטים פחות נקיים מהשימוש הרגיל שלי.... זה לא שאף פעם לא התנסיתי בסגנון הזה, אבל אני נהנית לנצל כאלה הזדמנויות - ככה זה מגדיר לי זמן שבו אני "מתלכלכת", ויותר קל להמשיך באיזור הנוחות שלי... טוב, קשקשתי מספיק....

בדף הזה, עם צבע אקריל לבן, טשטשתי את דף הרקע (שמציץ פה ושם, בעיקר בצדדים), והשתמשתי בשאריות נייר (לפי הצבעים של התמונה שבחרתי). אפילו המדבקות של המילים נחשבות אצלי ליציאה מאיזור הנוחות... אני לא מרבה להשתמש במדבקות, ובטח שלא באנגלית (פיתחתי סוג של סנוביזם לשפה - מעדיפה עברית עברית עברית!)

עברתי עם האצבע על שולי התמונה עם צבע אקרילי ורוד, הוספתי כותרת בעברית (חותמות), ופרחים - קרנושי, תודה על הנדיבות והשיתוף :-)

Long time...

About 2 weeks ago I joined a workshop for layouts I don't usually do... Acrylic paints, glimmer mist, etc. It's not that I've never used these materials - it's just "out of my comfort zone".

Anyway - this layout was fun to make and I enjoy its difference from my "normal style"...

New layout: Day Dream - דף מעוצב חדש: חולמת בהקיץ

אתמול השתתפתי בסדנת דף מקומט (או: איך להתעלל בדפים וליצור מהם משהו קסום!) של אורלי שמיר.

התחלנו "בקטנה": קרענו את הדף... המשכנו בקימוט, כדרור וקווצ'וץ' של הדף... אחר כך דיסטרסנו (להלן פועל: לדסטרס.. אליעזר בן יהודה - שים לב...) והוספנו מלאנת'לפים דברים שלא מתקרבים לשולחן העבודה שלי ביום יום... נכון שיצא מעולה? אורלי מדריכה מעולה, עם המון סבלנות וחן (בסגנון המיוחד שלה :-)) - תודה ענקית!! נהניתי!

Yesterday I was in Orli Shamir's workshop - Wrinkled Layout (or in other words: how to abuse a cardstock and make a magnificent creation). We tore the page, wrinkled & crumpled it, distressed & inked, added layers & layers... Totally not my usual style but I LOVE it!! Orli is a great teacher, with a lot of patience and charm (her own style of charm :-) - Thank you very much!!

New mini album: France 2011 - מיני אלבום חדש: צרפת 2011

I wanted to give Sigal & Erez a special gift for Passover. A few days ago they returned from a vacation in France and sent us pictures. I printed the pictures and created this mini album. I used the Travel stack by DCWV, some flowers and the albums is ready. They told me it's beautiful **I'm blushing**. I created another version of this album - you can see it here.

לכבוד פסח רציתי להכין לסיגל וארז מתנה. כמה ימים לפני החג הם חזרו מחופשה בצרפת ושלחו לנו תמונות. הדפסתי את התמונות ויצרתי מהן מיני אלבום. השתמשתי בחבילת דפים בנושא טיולים / נסיעות, קישטתי בפרחים והאלבום היה מוכן. שמחתי לשמוע שהם אהבו אותו והסמקתי :-) הכנתי עוד גירסה של אלבומון כזה - אפשר לראות כאן.

New layout: Book Worm - דף מעוצב חדש: תולעת ספרים

Yaara is a book worm, since the day she was born (almost), you can see other book worm layout here. We were on a family vacation, it was almost midnight and Yaara said that she is not tired. I asked her if she want to read and she said yes. We found out that we didn't take her books, so I suggested she read mine, about the game theory... After 10 minutes of reading (and pretending it's interesting) she decided to go to sleep.

יערה, תולעת ספרים ידועה, מהיום שנולדה (פחות או יותר) - דף מעוצב נוסף שמתעד את העניין אפשר לראות כאן. היינו בחופשה משפחתית, השעה כמעט חצות ויערה טענה שהיא לא עייפה.. שאלתי אם היא רוצה לקרוא והיא ענתה שכן. מכיוון שלא ארזנו ספרי קריאה בשבילה ובשביל מור, הצעתי לה את הספר שאני קראתי, על תורת המשחקים. אחרי 10 דקות של קריאה (בהן היא טענה שהספר מעניין) היא פרשה לשנת לילה טובה...

Noga's Back Yard

This layout was inspired by sketch #41 @ Tuesday Trio. The extra challenge was wings:

I made this mini album for Moran's new nephew - Noam. I hope she likes it :-)

This layout was inspired by Tshupile's dictation / challenge: Create a layout that includes a picture of yourself, while creating something...

I used: My Mind's Eye cardstock, DCWV cardstocks, Making Memories cardstock, Sonburn cardstock, other unidetified scraps of paper, bling, charms (scissors & alpha), Prima flowers, lace, thread, Hero Arts Sketch Circle stamp, StazOn jet black, Ink It Up! orange, ChatterBox alpha stickers, crochet flower i knitted, misc unidentified embellishments, Sharpie, Cuttlebug die & embossing folder.

Alef Bet

I created this mini album with Yaara's pictures. We went on our summer vacation and slept in Ramot. We had a small swimming pool and on the last day Yaara (and Oren, my DH) created the Hebrew alphabet.

I was influenced by Edwige Bufquin's mini albums (which I tried to imitate here - I love her design style!!).

The mini album is based on Neomi Shemer's song :-)
