New card: Good Luck


Today's post at Practical Scrappers is about back to school cards & layouts.
I created this simple window card with my collection: School Is Cool.
Tearing the small papers ,and inking the edges... Adding greeting with small letters... Adding small embellishments from the kit cover - the bag is on the inner paper.

Mor saw this card and says: I know who can get this card! I am! I'm going to first grade!
I can't believe my baby is going to first grade - Good luck Morky :-)

Cataract Lake


This layout was inspired by Tuesday Trio's sketch #36 (additional challenge: don't use red, orange & pink) - rotated countercloskwise. It also fits the Practical Scrappers challenge of this week: use stamps:



I used: Miss Elizabeth's cardstock, DCWV cardstocks + chipboard, Sonburn cardstock, Hero Arts Decorative Bird, StazOn jet black, Ink It Up! black ink, Sharpie.

The journaling says: First birthday celebrated in Zamir kindergarten: Ziv's birthday. Saturday morning, we went to the park near the stadium. There were games, makeup & candies... Mazal Tov!

I used: Sonburn cardstocks, Fiskars border punch, Scrappy Cat flourishes clear stamps, StazOn jet black, Sharpie, bling, Singer (first time I used these stitches).

The title says: Drive Slowly
The journaling says: We went to pick up Yaara from Zamir kindergarten, you moved to the passanger seat (after i parked the car) and you began to drive... If you drive fast - you'll be cought by a policeman, drive slowly...
I used: Sonburn cardstocks, Miss Elizabeths birthday papers & grey cardstock, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Ink It Up! black ink, Marvy Uchida punch, Sharpie, buttons.

Reinforcement Player - The Scrappiest #31 & Practical Scrappers


I don't know the right term in English, so I just translated it the best I could - If you know what I meant, please let me know the correct phrase **embarressed**

This is sketch #31 by The Scrappiest:


And the focus on Practical Scrappers this week was felt.
I combined these 2 elements to one layout:

The title: Reinforcement player (again, please correct me if I'm wrong)
The journaling says: Electra, the new sponsor of Maccabi Tel Aviv, gave her employees (including "Shekem Electric employees) tickets to a few games. Daddy went to a game and got a shirt. Fits me?

I used: Sonburn cardstocks, Sharpie, Ink It Up! black ink, felt, basketball button, paper piercer.
