New cards: Light

This week's challenge @Scrappy Hands is light.
It's the first time I use this die, by Memory Box & Simon Says Stamp
The 4th try was successful, after I thought of rotating the die clockwise...
Anyway - I wanted to do something original. At first I thought of candles (Hanukkah, birthday), then I thought of the sun, and finally - the stars :)

New card: Owlways in my heart

A little embarrassing to say, but I already used this stamp :-)
There are so many stamps I have that I didn't use - maybe this is the embarrassing thing...

New Card: 4U...

Unscripted Sketches are celebrating 4...
They have a new challenge / drawing for winners: it includes a sketch (surprise? LOL) and extra drawing if using the number or word 4 - four...
Since I was asked to create cards for men, I took this stamping bella dude, with blue as primary color, added yellow and few more "extras" (bakers twine, circle with greeting...) and the card is ready...

New card: For You...

I created few cards using my April counterfeit kit..
Although the use of papers in this specific card is very limited - the few scraps were from the kit :-)
The sketch is from CAS(e) this sketch #23.
I was asked to create cards for men, so I chose blue colors and star as main shape... Stripes of fabric tapes - doodle frame, and the card is ready...

New mini album: Baby Boy (Envelopes) - מיני אלבום חדש: תינוק (מעטפות)

On April 13 I participated in "Scrap Club 02" (the Jerusalem club that meets once a month for a crop night) - It was very enjoying meeting the girls I already know and new girls as well. I always feel that it's very difficult for me to participate in events like this - I usually don't talk too much and it's hard for me to gain new friends. This night was really great. We made mini album using 4 envelopes as the base. I brought 6X6 Nursery baby boy stack by DCWV and decided to create a mini album for a baby boy. I already know who will get it, hopefully soon...

ביום רביעי, ה-13 באפריל, השתתפתי ב"מועדון סקראפ 02", היה ערב מאד מהנה - חלק מהבנות הכרתי ממפגשים קודמים וחלק פגשתי בפעם הראשונה. תמיד אני מרגישה שקשה לי במפגשים חברתיים כאלה - אני שותקת הרבה וקשה לי להתחבר וליצור חברויות (לכן הרבה פעמים אני מעדיפה לוותר על מפגשים). כמו שכבר כתבתי - הערב היה מאד מוצלח. הכנו מיני אלבומים שהבסיס נבנה מ-4 מעטפות. הבאתי חבילת דפים קטנה של DCWV של תינוקות (בנים) והחלטתי להכין אלבום תינוק - אפילו יש לי יעד מתוכנן (ואם לא ייצא לפועל - יש יעד חלופי :-))

הכריכה: מתכוונת להוסיף את שם התינוק (כנראה באותיות שחורות של מסטיקים) - אוסיף לפני שאדע סופית לאן האלבום הולך:

The first envelope / page: I wanted to use the spellbinders "Play Time" dies with felt. I used a black mat for each shape I cut to create the car. I recently bought a pack of rub-ons by Leaps & Bounds (Snips & Snails) and I enjoyed using it - the little taxi is a rub on. I also created a traffic light using buttons and I added the ribbon, as the road....

מעטפה / דף מספר 1: ראיתי אצל קרין תבניות חיתוך של תינוקות / ילדים / בנים והחלטתי לחתוך בהם לבד (felt). כל חלק הדבקתי על קרטון שחור, להדגיש את הבדלי הצבעים. כשהייתי בארה"ב בסוף מרץ קניתי חבילת ראב-אונים (להלן: שפשפים - תובנות ממפגש המועדון) ונורא נהניתי להשתמש בהם כאן - המונית הצהובה הקטנה היא שפשף. יצרתי גם רמזור מכפתורים צבעוניים וקרטון שחור והוספתי סרט מתאים ככביש...

The second envelope / page: Again, I started with the airplane die, added rub-ons and something was still missing. The background paper is filled with little birds, so I decided to add a big bird, again - using a button...

מעטפה / דף מספר 2: שוב, התחלתי עם תבנית החיתוך של המטוס, הוספתי שפשפים מתאימים אבל הרגשתי שמשהו חסר. מכיוון שדף הרקע מכיל המון ציפורים קטנות, החלטתי ליצור ציפור גדולה, שבסיסה כפתור...

The third envelope / page: Same story (I repeat myself) - boat die, rub ons, rick rack for the waves and again: something is missing. I asked Mor (Karin's SIL - correct?? :-)) and she suggested to add the sun. It was a brilliant idea!

מעטפה / דף מספר 3: שוב חוזרת על עצמי - תבנית חיתוך של סירה, שפשפים, סרט כגלי הים ושוב אותה צרה - חסר פה משהו! שאלתי את מור (גיסתה של קרין, נכון??) והיא הציעה שאוסיף שמש. רעיון גדול - והופ יש שמש!

The forth (and last) envelope / page: Rockets... rocket die, rub-ons (more rockets and stars) and than the little add-on was a felt star (Almost sure sizzix die) and a button...

מעטפה / דף מספר 4: טילים... מתחיל להימאס (מזל שזה התיאור האחרון): תבנית חיתוך, שפשפים (של טילים וכוכבים) והתוספת שתמיד חסרה באה הפעם בצורת כוכב (מתוך תבנית חיתוך אחרת של קרין), ובמרכזה כפתור...

It's very strange to me that the "Play Time" shapeabilities matched perfectly the rub ons I bought!

היה לי נורא מוזר שסט תבניות החיתוך של קרין התאימו לי בצורה מושלמת לחבילת השפשפים שקניתי. מוזר אבל טוב!

New layout: Yaara'a book store (2nd layout) - דף מעוצב חדש: חנות הספרים של יערה (הדף השני)

This is the second layout for Yaara's book store double - The first is here. I tried to use the same materials, to make a connection between the 2 pages. I like doubles - it's a great solution for multiple photos! The only conflict I had was regarding the center flower - without the flower I felt something is missing, but it's the only embellishment that is only on one page and not both. Anyway - I like it this way.

In the pictures we can see Mor, who is the sweetest customer ever, pays Yaara for the book she buys, Yaara is writing the receipt and handing the book... They are so sweet!

הנה הדף השני עבור הכפולה של חנות הספרים של יערה - את הדף הראשון אפשר לראות כאן. ניסיתי להשתמש באותם אלמנטים עיצוביים, על מנת ליצור קשר בין הדפים. אני אוהבת כפולות וחושבת שזה פתרון נהדר כשיש הרבה תמונות של אותה סיטואציה. היה לי קונפליקט אחד בעיצוב הדף הזה - הפרח הגדול במרכז. בלעדיו הרגשתי שמשהו עוד חסר ומצד שני - זה האלמנט היחיד שלא מופיע בדף הראשון. בכל אופן - אני שמחה שהוספתי! אני אוהבת את זה ככה.

בתמונות אפשר לראות את מור, הלקוחה הכי מתוקה בעולם, משלמת ליערה על הספר ש"קנתה", יערה מכינה פתק החלפה או קבלה ומוסרת את הספר. אני כל כך נהנית לראות אותן משחקות ככה יחד, מפעילות את הדמיון ונהנות!

Smile & Laugh

I joined Got Sketch Mini. The first sketch inspired me to create this layout.
The pictures were taken last winter. Yaara was about 3 years and 4 months & Mor was about 1 year and 5 months... The journaling (Hebrew) saying:
Yaara and Mor are enjoying the winter: Wear warm pajamas, get in Yaara's bed, laugh, snuggle, do funny faces, enjoy being together, play, smile & laugh. Fun in the winter!
I used DCWV patterned papers. solid cardstocks, Letters & Corners by Chatter BOX, prima flowers, and I cut the scalloped circle using circle scallop Spellbinders Nestabilites.

The Got Sketch Mini encouraged me to start & create something with all the pictures that I printed in the last 3-4 years and were just waited in a box. I said to myself that I will try to do at least 2 layout a week. I hope I will be able to do it (and share it here in my renewed blog).
