Taj Mahal

This layout was inspired by sketch #54 @ Creative Genealogy Scrapbooking.
The pictures were taken during my trip to India, before I started my military service (September 1996 - I showed the LO to a friend and she asked me why did I write 2006.... At that moment I realized I was wrong and changed it to the correct year - 1996, ten years earlier).

I used: DCWV cardstocks (Taj Mahal stack), Ink It Up! black ink, stapler, ribbons, embellishments received (I finally had the chance to use all these gold embellishments, which I rarely use).

Sugar Dough cake - Cat

This is the cake I made for Mor's birthday at the kindergarten. Quite simple, but kids don't care... LOL. As long as she was happy - I was happy!

Noga's Back Yard

This layout was inspired by sketch #41 @ Tuesday Trio. The extra challenge was wings:

Close up:
In the pictures you can see Yaara & Rotem (Yaara's best friend) planting in their kindergarten's back yard.

I used: DCWV cardstocks, Around the Block cardstock, Ink It Up! black ink, We R Memory Keepers chipboard, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Prima flowers, Making Momories flower & button, the Paper Studio pearls, pins, thread, brads.

Queen of Butterflies

This is another layout that was inspired by sketch #41 @ Tuesday Trio. Again, the extra challenge was wings. I created this layout as a second layout, because when I sent the first (Noga's back yard) - I understood that I should have put more emphasis on the wings (and few butterflies are not enough)... Anyway - I immediately thought about these pictures of Yaara, on Purim 2008. She wanted to be the queen of butterflies, not just a "regular" butterfly. She was 3 and half years, she put the makeup-play at my hands and told me what shape she wanted, which colors to use. She went to see in the mirror after each stage :-)

Supplies:
Cardstocks - DCWV, sonburn
Stamps - Marmelada (Hebrew), Unity
Ink - Marmelada, StazOn jet black
Pen - Sharpie
Other - Fiskars border punch, glitter, bling

Happy Birthday card

Yaara, my 6 years old daughter, came to me and said: I'm bored, I don't know what to do... It's been a while since I wanted to create more cards to my stash, so I asked her if she wants to make cards with me. She said yes and used all my tools.
This is the card I made (I didn't take picture of hers, she already wrote a greeting to her niece - who celebrates her birthday on December):

I used: Sonburn cardstock, DCWV patterned paper, Fiskars border punch, Studio G clear stamps, StazOn jet black, felt (+unknown cardstock - the lower)
