Hebrew on my blog - הבלוג גם בעברית!! + Bulletin Board - לוח מודעות

Many people have asked me why I don't write my posts in Hebrew. Today everything will change (well, not everything... LOL) - It feels strange but I'll get used to it...

Yesterday I went to KarinDi, who host "ScrapClub02" (a monthly crop night). Yesterday's project was a bulletin board. There was an option to buy a customized kit or bring our own supplies. I brought a stack I bought a long time ago and hardly used: La Creme by DCWV.

Here's my bulletin board: The upper part includes a large pocket for letters and the lower part includes post-it notes and clips for messages. Unfortunately I didn't have a red or pink post-it notes, so I used non-matching color:

לוח המודעות מחולק ל-2: בחלק העליון יש כיס גדול למכתבים ובחלק התחתון פתקים דביקים ואטבים קטנים להודעות. לצערי לא מצאתי פתקים דביקים בצבע תואם כמו ורוד או אדום אז נאלצתי להשתמש בצבע פחות מתאים:

Some close-ups:

I used:
Cardstocks: DCWV - La Creme
Letters: Kesem Art
Ink: Ink It Up!
Tools: Martha Stewart punches: butterfly & border, Cuttlebug (the flower dies were Karin's)
Other: felt, brads, clips, grosgrain ribbons, bling, post-it notes

New layout: Balloons

As a Guest Designer for Stamp by Step I created another layout - this time with different theme of papers . I edited 2 pictures, turning them to black & white, leaving the balloon - the main focus of the layout - in its original color.
It's a little funny and strange changing the usual method of work. I usually pick the pictures and then match coordinating cardstocks & papers. This time I had the papers and I had to choose the pictures that coordinates and create some kind of harmony.

Close up on the popped-up balloons & flower:
I used:
Cardstock & Stickers: Kraft, Fancy Pants Celebrate Collection
Ribbons & Fibers: Silver Metallic Cord, green grosgrain ribbon
Ink: Ink It Up! black ink, StazOn jet black
Stamp: Studio G clear stamp
Flowers: Flora Doodles Glitter fabric flowers, other too :-)
Embellishments: American Crafts Round Buttons Key Lime & Metal Corners Leaf
Pen: Sharpie
Letters: Kesem Art

New card: Cup of Coffee

Another card made as a Guest Designer position for Stamp by Step.
Since it was made mostly with scraps - I "invented" the composition, with no sketches (yes, I do it rarely!):

I used:
Cardstock & Stickers: Miss Elizabeth's, Pebbles Inc. Snow Fun Creative Pad
Ink: Ink It Up! black ink, StazOn jet black
Stamps: Unity
Tools: Cuttlebug & Spellbinders Nestabilities
Other: bling

New card: sort of vintage

This card was inspired by sketch #48 @ Tuesday Trio. The extra challenge was to create a round vintage card. Since I don't like vintage and I don't really know how to do vintage - I did what I could...

I used:
Cardstocks: DCWV
Tools: Singer Touch & Sew, Cuttlebug & Nestabilities, butterfly punch (unknown)
Other: trim of lace, brads, bling

New layout: In & Out

The second project I created as a Guest Designer position for Stamp by Step was a wintry layout. I tried to use as much supplies as I can, as still leave the layout clean & simple.
In the picture you can see Tal, my SIL's son digging in the snow in Denver.

I used:
Cardstock & Stickers: Miss Elizabeth's, Pebbles Inc. Snow Fun Creative Pad
Ink: Ink It Up! black ink
Tools: Cuttlebug & Embossing folders
Pen: Sharpie
Letter Stickers: Deflect-o
