New layout: We {heart} Books - דף מעוצב חדש: אנחנו אוהבות ספרים

Yesterday I went to "Scrap Club 02". I created 3 layouts based on a given template. The first layout I created displays the library. About once a month I take the girls to the library, they choose reading books. Yaara can choose 2 and Mor 1. We usually read together Mor's book and Yaara is reading on her own...

The layout is also for the following challenges: Hearts @ Tellen's Place & Polka Doodles.

אתמול הייתי ב"מועדון סקראפ 02". יצרתי 3 דפים מעוצבים שמבוססים על תבנית אחת. הדף הראשון שיצרתי מציג את הספריה העירונית. בערך אחת לחודש הבנות ואני הולכות לספריה להחליף ספרים. יערה בוחרת שניים ומור אחד. בד"כ אני מקריאה להן את הספר שמור בחרה ויערה קוראת לבד את שלה, בד"כ לפני השינה...

New layout: Welcome to Alaska + Blog Hop - דף מעוצב חדש: ברוכים הבאים לאלסקה + בלוג הופ

This layout was inspired by Tuesday Trio sketch #52. The challenge was to add glitter, in a meaningful way. I rarely use glitter. I don't have much glitter (besides few stacks that has glitter effect). It was definitely a challenge for me. I started to go over my stash and found some glitter letters I received from Erin Yamabe on one of her workshops at PACS this winter. I looked for matching products and created this colorful opening page for my SIL's family to Alaska... I'm pretty sure that the rest of the Alaska's pages will look very differently. I may re-do this page one day (and may not - too lazy)...

Recipe swap: Tu Bishvat (part 2) - החלפת מתכונים: ט"ו בשבט (חלק 2)

This is the second page I created for the recipes swap for Tu Bishvat - New year of the trees... This time I copied a recipe of butter & nuts cookies. I used a tree stamp and covered it with tiny beautiful flowers I recently bought. I love the result of this blooming tree!

זה הדף השני שהכנתי להחלפת מתכונים בנושא ט"ו בשבט. העתקתי מתכון של עוגיות חמאה ואגוזים. החתמתי עץ וכיסיתי אותו בפרחים שקניתי לאחרונה. הפרחים מוסיפים צבעוניות ונפח לדף ואני מאד אוהבת את התוצאה!

Since the back side of the page looks already full, I felt that there's no need to overload it. So I added a frame with the swap details and a bird...

הצד האחורי של הדף (במקור חשבתי להשתמש בדף הזה בתור הצד הקדמי) - הרגשתי שלא צריך להוסיף יותר מדי ובעצתה של ליאור (תודה חתולי :-)) הוספתי מסגרת ובה פרטי ההחלפה וציפור - שלא יהיה לציפור במסגרת משעמם...

This card was inspired by sketch #51 @ Tuesday Trio. The challenge was to add something to the sketch and add a hidden tag with a sentiment. I created a slider card with my daughters - it means that they helped me cutting and folding theirs and they decorated the cards and only then I could start working on mine... When I started mine - Mor (4 1/2) announced me that she's making her card for me, so I should give her my card... And by the way - I should write her that I hope she feels well (she has a fever). OK - if she says so, how can I tell her no...

הכרטיס הוכן על פי סקיצה מס' 51 של שלוש בשלישי. האתגר היה להוסיף משהו לסקיצה ולהשתמש בתגית נסתרת בשביל הכיתוב...

ישבתי עם יערה ומור "לעשות יצירה" והכנו יחד כרטיסים (הכנו = עזרתי להן לחתוך ולקפל את שלהן ובזמן שהן קישטו התפניתי לעבוד על הכרטיס שלי). כשהתחלתי לעבוד על הכרטיס שלי, מור (בת 4 וחצי) הכריזה שהיא מכינה את הכרטיס שלה בשבילי ולכן אני צריכה להכין לה... אה, וגם לכתוב לה שתרגיש טוב (היא עם חום גבוה). אם היא אומרת - מי אני שאסרב לה?
