11 years ago we got married... isn't it a long time? Very long time!
This is the picture I like most from our wedding day. We're young and happy :-)
The border is acrylic paints I put on the paper with my finger. 1 wide layer of Yellow cornmeal paint - the closest to the color of the flowers I'm holding and 1 layer of narrow black paint.
The edges of the picture and the papers are distressed and I like this layers look.
I added a strip of lace to add interest and texture...
What do you think? I appreciate your commets

New card: Ilan is 50

Ilan, Oren's big brother, celebrated 50... What a number :-)
I used the scraps from this layout and inside I stamped a little bird, to match the "theme" of the family's greeting...
So, again, Happy Birthday Ilan!

I appreciate your comments :-)

New card: Happy new year

Another new year's card:
This time I embossed the upper part of the card, added a deco tape, and the scalloped circle with the cute apple... (same as here)
What do you think?

New layout: My grandpa and I

This layout was inspired by the first challenge of the new Israeli challenges blog.
I took an old picture of Oren, my husband, with his grand father. Few years ago he got a pack of pictures from his childhood and I guess I kept this pack of pictures with other old pictures I have.
While searching for an interesting picture to scrap - I found this one...
On one hand - I wanted the colors to be neutral, not colorful - and the papers chosen makes the picture pop.
I took a dictionary page with "attention" and "kindness" / "wisdom" and put it below the picture. I added the twine and the lace, which are kind of contradictions.
What do you think?I'd love to read :-)

New card: Happy new year

Yes, it's starting...
The new year, by the Jewish calendar, will be celebrated in a month (mid September this year).
I started to create the new year's cards.
In this card I used the "window" technique (like this one) - the apple and the sentiment is part of the greeting that will be written.
The paper I used is from one of my latest stacks: Tishrei Holidays. If you want to purchase, you can found it here.
I appreciate your comments :-)
