Today is a special day: My little girl went to first grade!

A fresh start, a new beginning...

Another new year's card...

New layout: green girl

I created this layout few weeks ago. Splash of color on the solid background paper, acrylic paint as border of the pictures, squares cut as triangles to create a chevron pattern... Sewed on patterned paper... Added embellishments - brads with matching colors (to my imagination theme: blue for the sky, green for the grass and brown for the ground?)....
Anyway - I love this pictures, taken ~7 years ago :-)
