New layout: Sick Leave - דף מעוצב חדש: חופשת מחלה

As a Guest Designer for Stamp by Step I created another layout - again with Fancy Pants Celebrate Collection . I chose picture of Mor - she didn't feel well and after the doctor appointment we went to the mall. The biggest attraction at the mall is these moving vehicles - they LOVE these things! Besides the fact that on sick leave one of the girls doesn't feel well - it's a chance for just 2 of us to hang out together - some kind of 1 on 1 quality time...

דף נוסף שעיצבתי במסגרת תפקידי כמעצבת אורחת בחנות Stamp by Step. מור לא הרגישה טוב ואחרי התור אצל הרופאה הלכנו לקניון. יערה ומור אוהבות ללכת לקניון בעיקר בשביל המתקנים הזזים בשנקל. כל פעם מדהים אותי מחדש כמה שזה אטרקטיבי בעיניהן! למעט העובדה שבחופשת מחלה ככל הנראה אחת מהן לא מרגישה טוב - זה סוג של הזדמנות לבלות זמן איכות של 1 על 1 ולהיות ביחד...

This card was inspired by sketch #49 @ Tuesday Trio. I rotated the sketch clockwise. Few days ago I created with my daughters minimalistic cards - a little washi tape (torn by hand), stamp and that's it... I used the same technique (if you can call it a technique) to create this card. Anyway the other day, Mor - my little girl (4 1/2 years) asked me to spell some words and eventually she gave me a card wishing me to be healthy and feel well... (I forgot to mention that I'm sick for few days now... :-)) Anyway - she made me happy!

הכרטיס עוצב עפ"י סקיצה מס' 49 של שלוש בשלישי, בסיבוב של 90 מעלות ימינה... הבנות שלי מאד אוהבות ליצור איתי ולהשתמש בחומרים שלי: חותמות, דיו ועוד ועוד... כל עוד אני משתמשת בזה - גם הן רוצות, החומרים של הילדים כבר קטנים עליהן :-) בכל אופן - הכנתי איתן כרטיסים מינימליסטיים: מסקינג טייפ צבעוני, חותמת שתבלוט מעל וזהו - הכרטיס מוכן. הפעם השתמשתי באותו רעיון, אבל הוספתי עוד כמה פרטים כמו העיגול בפינה, התיפורים הידניים (שהיה חלק מהאתגר) והסרט הצהוב...

מכיוון שאני חולה כבר כמה ימים - מור, הקטנה שלי (בת 4 וחצי), שאלה אותי: "אמא, איך כותבים....?" אייתתי לה את המילים שהיא ביקשה ובסוף קיבלתי כרטיס ברכה: "אמא, אני מאחלת לך שתהיי בריאה" - אין דברים כאלה!! מאוהבת בה :-)

New card: Happy Day, circles card swap - כרטיס חדש: החלפת כרטיס עיגולים

Once again I participated in a card swap - the theme was circles (specifically the design and not the shape of the card).

פעם נוספת השתתפתי בהחלפת כרטיסים: עיגולים. הודגש כי לא מדובר בצורת הכרטיס, אלא רק בעיצוב שעליו.

I had to send my card to Danna Gal, so I searches for some clues about her likes and dislikes... I read that she hates pink and loves all other colors, so I chose purple-blue palette:

הייתי צריכה לשלוח את הכרטיס לדנה גל אז התחלתי לחפש רמזים על ההעדפות שלה. קראתי שהיא שונאת ורוד ואוהבת את שאר הצבעים אז החלטתי לעצב את הכרטיס בצבעים סגול-כחול:

As a Guest Designer for Stamp by Step I wanted to create as many layouts as possible. Cards don't need much paper - layout need more, so I decided to do as many layouts as I can and try to use the scraps for cards. So I created another layout - again with Fancy Pants Celebrate Collection . I chose picture of Mor, with Oren, cuddling in our bed, back on August 2008... I love this picture - it's like the best father-daughter moment!

במסגרת בחירתי כמעצבת אורחת בחנות Stamp by Step רציתי ליצור כמה שיותר דפים מעוצבים. מכיוון שבד"כ דפים מעוצבים דורשים יותר נייר מכרטיסים רציתי קודם כל ליצור את הדפים ולהשתמש בשאריות עבור הכרטיסים.

בחרתי תמונה של אורן עם מור, מחובקים במיטה... אני ממש אוהבת את התמונה הזאת שמנציחה רגע כל כך מתוק...

Hebrew on my blog - הבלוג גם בעברית!! + Bulletin Board - לוח מודעות

Many people have asked me why I don't write my posts in Hebrew. Today everything will change (well, not everything... LOL) - It feels strange but I'll get used to it...

בעקבות הערות, שאלות ותהיות בעניין השפה הגעתי לנקודת מפנה: מהיום גם בעברית... מוזר אבל מאמינה שאתרגל בקלות :-)

אז קודם כל שלום לכולן ומקווה לראות אתכן קוראות ומגיבות יותר :-)

Yesterday I went to KarinDi, who host "ScrapClub02" (a monthly crop night). Yesterday's project was a bulletin board. There was an option to buy a customized kit or bring our own supplies. I brought a stack I bought a long time ago and hardly used: La Creme by DCWV.

אתמול הייתי אצל קרין במפגש של "מועדון סקראפ 02". הפרוייקט של אתמול היה הכנת לוח מודעות. למרות שהיתה אפשרות לקנות קיט מוכן העדפתי להשתמש בחומרים שלי. הבאתי איתי סטאק של DCWV שכמעט ולא יצא לי להשתמש בו בעבר.

Here's my bulletin board: The upper part includes a large pocket for letters and the lower part includes post-it notes and clips for messages. Unfortunately I didn't have a red or pink post-it notes, so I used non-matching color:

לוח המודעות מחולק ל-2: בחלק העליון יש כיס גדול למכתבים ובחלק התחתון פתקים דביקים ואטבים קטנים להודעות. לצערי לא מצאתי פתקים דביקים בצבע תואם כמו ורוד או אדום אז נאלצתי להשתמש בצבע פחות מתאים:
