When I was in the US, I bought many squares from different colors - Stax. Every now and then I try to use them, like in this card. I put many of these squares as kind of a grid, doodled them with dots - to add interest, I trimmed and used a border punch, because I couldn't fit another row of squares and I didn't want to leave a large area empty. Because of the pink paper I adhered, I wanted to cover the back side - the papers overlapping area, so I put this lace ribbon. I got the stamp (Fiskars celebration stamp set) few months ago and now I thought it would fit here, and stamped the "usual" greeting (JustRite Stampers). I still felt there's something missing, so I added 2 butterflies (one on top of the other) and a little pearl. Done.
כשהייתי בארה"ב ראיתי חבילה קטנה של המון ריבועים חתוכים בכל מיני צבעים. זה עלה "גרושים" ושכנעתי את עצמי לקחת, לא תופס מקום במזוודה ;-) מדי פעם אני אפילו זוכרת להשתמש בהם. התחלתי להניח את הריבועים אחד ליד השני, וציירתי נקודות מסביב לכל ריבוע, כדי להוסיף עניין. בגלל שלא הצלחתי להכניס שורה שלישית של ריבועים, ולא רציתי להשאיר הרבה שטח ריק, חתכתי את הקצה והשתמשתי בפאנץ' בורדר בשביל שלא יהיה משעמם. הוספתי את הנייר הורוד, להתאים לגודל הכרטיס, והחיבור בין הדפים מאחורה נראה לי גס מדי, מה שגרם לי לקשור סרט מסביב... את החותמת הזו (כחלק מסט) קיבלתי לפני כמה חודשים וחשבתי שהפעם החותמת יכולה להתאים. במרכזה החתמתי כרגיל באחת הברכות של JustRite. עדיין משהו הרגיש לי חסר והוספתי פרפרים (אחד על השני) עם פנינה קטנה. זהו.
