We used to have a "family hour" - mostly on Saturday, taking an hour off from all the things we do - and spend it as quality time - the four of us... Used to play games / tell jokes and just hang out together...
Each week I used to take a picture during this time.
This week the picture was inspired by "The Simpsons" - every episode they sat on the couch differently :-)
The layout was inspired by Unscripted Sketch #231, and was created with my November counterfeit kit...

The picture was taken on a swing: Yaara & Mor were standing on it - from both sides and I lied down, looking at the sky, seeing their faces pops :-)
The layout is inspired by November 1st sketch @ Stuck?!

Tag: Invest in yourself

When I create these tags - using quotes seems right.
This time I chose a quote by Brian Stacy: Invest the first hour of the day, the 'Golden Hour,' in yourself.
Again, used my "scrap kit" in my hotel room in the Netherlands... stamping and cutting before dinner, finish the tag late at night...
Since I want to use different papers for the dresses and the hair (in each tag I create) - I had an idea: in this tag I used fabric tape as the hair :-)
so.. what do you think?
Thanks for being here...

New card: Dots (swap)

From time to time I'm being tempted to be a part of a swap... Send a card and receive one.
It usually terrifies me to send to other: "what if she won't like it?", "What if it's too simple?", "What if it's not her style...?", etc.
This is the main reason I keep out of these things... But as I said - from time to time - I get tempted, and sign in.
This swap was about dots. Looking closely (click on the pictures to enlarge) - you can see that each of the colored papers is dots embossed. Embarrassed to admit but I bought this paper pack about 16 months ago and this is the first time I use them...
I like the contrast between the black & white paper & stamp vs. the colorful butterflies.
I think it's clean and simple, as I like.
What do you think?
Thanks for the visit :-)

New Tag: You are Beautiful... Just the way you are...

I'm far away from home... In the Netherlands... Eindhoven, to be exact. Work Travel.
It was very hard to go. Leaving the girls behind (with their father - the best man for the job, but he's not me...)
Anyway - I thought that if I travel I should take "scrap kit" for the time I'm not at work and not seeing the city.
This is the first thing I created (while my partner was resting from the flight in her room).
I like that say: You are beautiful - just the way you are...
Makes me think how much most of the women don't like the way they look, but to our children (and husbands) - we are beautiful!
Maybe we should start believing them?
Thanks for stopping by :-)
