This is a scraplift try (as usual, I don't think of it as a lift at all, just taking an idea I love and make a much more simple (and less beautiful) layout).
The inspiration came from Creating Keepsakes, Septmber 2009 issue, on page 24 there's a double layout by Jacki Archibald called "While Waiting".
The title in my layout: Kite
The jornaling says: Your grandfather Eli promised to fly a kite eith the girls. We had so much fun making it fly high, run after it when it fel and make it fly again and again...
The blue strips, from right to left: "Grandpa, leave it alone?", High high in the sky, "I wanna hold too", Did you see the height?
I used: Sonburn cardstocks, Fiskars Threading Water border punch, Quickutz Silhouuette (font: Sinaa), Unity Confession & Scallopped details and dates, Sharpie, stapler.
