New layout: La Dolce Vita - דף מעוצב חדש: לה דולצ'ה ויטה

זה הדף השני שהכנתי עבור האתגרים של PACS (בזמן שיפית נחה במלון שבו התקיים הכנס - את באמת מכחישה שנחת שם?? וברומא??). האתגר היה לעצב דף שהכותרת שלו היא la dolce vita, החיים מתוקים (?), והכותרת צריכה להיות תפורה בצורה מקורית ויצירתית.

בחרתי סדרת תמונות של יערה ומור, ש"עוזרות" לי להכין עוגת ביסקויטים. שוב השתמשתי בדפים שקניתי בארה"ב (היחידים שלקחתי איתי לאיטליה, כמו בדף הזה). הבנות מלקקות את הלקקן מקצפת ושוקולד (החלק שהן הכי אוהבות בהכנת העוגה...).

אחרי שהדבקתי את האותיות של הכותרת, תפרתי קוים חוצים, על מנת לענות על תנאי האתגר, ועל מנת להוסיף עניין וטקסטורה לדף.

מה דעתכן? השתכנעתן? יש ליערה ומור חיים מתוקים? אני אומרת - חיים דבש, אבל אני לא אובייקטיבית :-)

The second layout I created as part of PACS' challenges (while Yafit was resting at the hotel room @ Castellammare di Stabia - and please, you can't deny you rest!!) was for the following one: Create a layout, the title should be 'la dolce vita' and the title should be sewed in a creative way.

I chose a series of pictures of Yaara & Mor, help making biscuits cake. Again, I used the papers I got at Big Lots for 5$ (and created this layout from this stack as well). The girls are licking the remaining of chocolate (this is their best part of helping me... LOL)...

After adhering the title, I stitched a crossing line to meet the challenge criteria and add texture and interest.

So... is it convincing? It looks like they're having a sweet life, isn't it?

New layout: Up Side Down family - דף מעוצב חדש: משפחה הפוכה

החזרה מאיטליה העירה לי את המוזה כמו שצריך! כשראיתי את הסקיצה שסלין פרסמה מיד התחלתי לחשוב על הדף שאכין.

את הדף התפור אהבתי מהרגע הראשון שראיתי אותו ואני חושבת שהיה לי ברור שהוא יתאים לתמונה משפחתית. חרצתי חריץ עבור התמונה - שתכנס מתחת ללב, וכמו כן חרצתי על מנת להשחיל בורדר עם סרט. השלב הבא היה למצוא את הדף התכלת שיתאים (הצבעים נבחרו לפי צבעי החולצות שלבשנו), וקארדסטוק שחור (ידעתי שיהיו עליו שרבוטים לבנים, בדומה לחולצה של אורן).

מדי פעם (כשאני זוכרת) - אנחנו מצטלמים "תמונה משפחתית" בכל מיני פוזות מצחיקות... הפעם שכבנו כולנו על המיטה, עם הראשים למטה - היה ממש מצחיק!

השתמשתי במכונת התפירה, בחוטים שחור ולבן, במקומות שונים ובסוגי תפרים שונים - אני מקווה להמשיך ולהשתמש בה יותר! היא גם ככה יושבת פה, אז למה לא לנצל? (האמת היא שאני תמיד מתעצלת, אבל זה מוסיף - אז אולי אפסיק להתעצל)

זהו - מה דעתכן??

Coming back from Italy was what I needed to wake up my mojo. When I saw Celine's new sketch I started to think of my new layout.

The background paper is a stitched paper by Amy Tangerine, I cut a slit in the heart - as a place holder for my picture, and another slit on both sides, to put a border and a ribbon. The next step was to find this light blue paper (The color combination imitates the colors of the shirts we wore) and then the black one (I knew I was going to doodle on it, like the 'Run' symbol on Oren's shirt).

The title says: Up side Down family... We used to take a family picture every week or two (when I remembered to do it). In this picture we're all lying on our bed with our heads toward the floor... It was funny...

I used my sewing machine to add more texture to the layout, in few places - in black & white threads...

So - what do you say??

New layout: Pastry - דף מעוצב חדש: מאפים

שבוע שעבר הייתי באיטליה, בכנס ה-PACS - Paper and Co Show. המטרה העיקרית של הנסיעה היתה הסדנאות, אבל יש עוד המון מסביב: אתגרים, ערבי יצירה משותפים ועוד פעילויות...

כשבוע לפני הנסיעה נסעתי בענייני עבודה לארה"ב, "מהיום להיום". ביום חמישי אמרו לי: הטיסה שלך במוצ"ש, לשבוע.

המשמעות: לא אספיק להכין כלום לאיטליה (אתגרים), ומצד שני זו הזדמנות לעשות שופינג בארה"ב.... מילא...

כמה דקות לפני שארזתי את המזוודה לאיטליה הכנסתי קיט שקניתי בארה"ב ב-5 דולר: 12 דפים דו"צ, כמה בורדרים, כיתובים קטנים ו-2 סיכות מתפצלות.

בחדר המלון הקטנטן שלנו ברומא, כשיפית נחה, שלפתי את הכלים והחומרים שלי והכנתי דף מעוצב עבור האתגר הבא: ליצור דף מעוצב תוך שימוש בחומרים מתחום האפיה: דוילי, מגש, מנג'טים של קאפקייקס וכו'.

אני מאד אוהבת את הדף שהכנתי: הסינר עם השרוכים - כיס עבור המתכון שנשלף מתוכו, רצף התמונות של הכנת אזני המן שהכנו בשנה שעברה....

מה דעתכן?

Last week I was in Italy, for the Paper And Co Show (PACS). The main purpose of the trip was the classes, but there's also many issues around, like the challenges & night crops and activities...

A week before my trip to Italy I had to go to the US (work related). They informed me on Thursday that my ticket is for Saturday night for a week... It means that I won't be able to participate in the challenges... hmmmm.... Not good but might be a chance for me for some US shopping...

Anyway - few minutes before I closed my suitcase for Italy, I put a paper kit I bought at Big Lots for 5$... about 12 double sided papers, few borders & small journaling chipboards and 2 brads.

In our tiny hotel room in Rome, while Yafit was resting, I took out my tools and started to create the first layout. The challenge was: We ask you to create a page in which to use material from pastry, a doily, a tray, a candle, the sachet of yeast, baking cups for cupcakes, make us wonder!

I love the result of the apron, with strings, the insert with the recipe, and the pictures I took last Purim...

New layout: Simply Mor - דף מעוצב חדש: פשוט מור

I can't put my finger on the reason I love this layout, it looks kinds of royal to me, don't know... The layout was inspired by sketch #121 @ Twisted Sketches, the twist was: punch. I love the shape of the main paper (you can see the paper I created with the "negative" of this shape right here). I wanted to make the twist significant, so I chose the Martha Stewart butterfly punch and added 3 pearls to each of them. I embossed a white cardstock with swiss dots folder, added a ribbon and doodled a little... Love it. Now when i think about it - I may love it because of Mor's picture :-)

לא יודעת לשים את האצבע על הסיבה שאני אוהבת את הדף הזה, מרגיש לי מלכותי משהו, אולי זו רק אני... את הדף יצרתי בהשראת סקיצה מס' 121 באתר Twisted Sketches, כאשר הטוויסט היה פאנץ'. אני מאד אוהבת את הצורה של הדף המרכזי (ובלינק הזה אפשר לראות דף אחר שעשיתי בעבר עם ה"נגטיב" של הצורה הזאת). רציתי שהטוויסט יהיה משמעותי, אז פינצ'צ'תי פרפרים וקישטתי אותם עם פנינים קטנות. הבלטתי דף לבן בנקודות, הוספתי סרט, קצת דודלינג וזהו. אוהבת את התוצאה.... מצד שני - אולי התמונה היפה של מור גורמת לי לאהוב את הדף :-)

New layout: Second Grade - דף מעוצב חדש: שלום כיתה ב

Yaara is in second grade. Big girl :-) I used my new stack School Is Cool to create this layout - right after she entered the classroom on the first day to school. Every pupil that comes to the classroom is looking for his star in a basket and put it on the board. When the teacher comes, she sees who's in and who's missing...

I'm not sure who was more excited - the parents or the children. I was excited for sure!

יערונת התחילה את כיתה ב' - ילדה גדולה באמת! השתמשתי בדפים מהקולקצייה החדשה: School Is Cool בשילוב של תמונה מהרגע שנכנסה לכיתה בראשון לספטמבר. כל תלמיד שמגיע לכיתה, מחפש את הכוכב עם השם שלו בסלסלה ותולה אותו על הלוח. כשהמורה מגיעה - היא מיד יכולה לדעת מי הגיע ומי חסר....

אני לא יודעת מי יותר מתרגש באירועים כאלה - ההורים או הילדים, מה שבטוח - אני התרגשתי :-)

New layout: Fun - דף מעוצב חדש: הכי כיף בעולם

We went to Ben-Shemen forest to take some pictures and have fun. I used these photos and created this layout based on sketch #112 @ Twisted Sketches (the twist was fun).

התמונות צולמו ביער בן שמן מתישהו בשנה שעברה... עלינו על המתקנים, שיחקנו, השתוללנו (וצילמנו).

את הדף יצרתי שבוע שעבר. התאמתי את הדפים לצבעים שבתמונות (לפי סקיצה 112 באתר Twisted Sketches) והרגשתי שחסר... אז חוררתי את הדף בעזרת ה-Sew Easy ורקמתי מסגרת והרגשתי שחסר... אז הוספתי תיפורים לבנים על הדף הכחול והרגשתי שחסר... אז הוספתי את הדף הורוד למטה, עם בורדר, שלא ישעמם, והרגשתי שחסר.... אז הוספתי את הפס הדקיק הכחול, עם תיפורים - שיתאים, וכבר לא הרגשתי שחסר. הוספתי כיתוב ונחמד לי ;-)

New Mini Album: Hot-Air Balloons - מיני אלבום חדש: מטס כדורים פורחים

On February we went to see a hot-air balloons. Even before we left our home, I started to create the base for this mini album... I used one of my new stacks and I'm proud of this mini. You can click the pictures to see the details:

בפברואר האחרון נסענו לבתרונות רוחמה לראות מטס כדורים פורחים. עוד לפני שיצאנו מהבית הכנתי את הבסיס למיני אלבום הזה (מי יודע, אולי אפילו נסענו לראות אותו רק בשביל התמונות :-) סתם, סתם...) השתמשתי בסטאק ילד פלא שעיצבתי - אני אוהבת את המיני הזה.. שימו לב שאפשר ללחוץ על התמונות כדי להגדיל אותן ולראות את הפרטים:

New layout: celebrate the lights - דף מעוצב חדש: חנוכה

Another layout for Hanukkah celebration at Mor's kindergarten - the first is here. Again, theCrafting Jewish Style gorgeous papers that perfectly fits the pictures! I used blocks of papers, the edges are inked, white gel pen for the contrast. Simple but nice. I believe that if I had a paper with the color of the first, as solid paper - the blocks would have popped out better - but I still think it's nice, it was a challenge...

דף נוסף עבור מסיבת חנוכה בגן של מור - את הראשון אפשר לראות כאן. שוב, הדפים המשגעים של Crafting Jewish Style מתאימים לתמונות כמו כפפה ליד... השתמשתי במלבנים של נייר, מלוכלכים בדיו בקצוות, עט ג'ל לבן להדגשות וניגודיות. נחמד... אני חושבת שאם היה לי דף עם צבע רקע אחיד, כמו של הדף הראשון - המלבנים היו בולטים יותר ונעימים לעין, אבל גם ככה אני אוהבת את זה. אין ספק שזה איתגר אותי יותר...

When I saw these pictures, I knew immediately which papers I should use. Yaara's pink dress was the sign.... The pictures were taken on July 2010. It was Friday afternoon and we drove to Tel Aviv port to have a good time.. We take a walk, laugh and run (a little!) and when the sun "goes to sleep" we eat our dinner in a restaurant, to finish our day with a smile...

כשראיתי את התמונות ידעתי מיד באיזה דפים אשתמש - השמלה של יערה היתה הסימן... צילמתי את התמונות ביולי 2010. יום שישי אחרי הצהריים, נסענו לנמל תל אביב לאחרי צהריים של כיף... טיילנו, צחקנו, ולקראת שקיעת השמש אכלנו ארוחת ערב במסעדה, שהשאירה טעם של עוד...

יצרתי רקע משילוב ריבועים שנחתכו מהדפים בסטאק "חלומות מתוקים" הפסטלי... עשיתי תיפורים לבנים, פינצ'צ'תי פרפרים, שמסמלים את הרגשת החופש, רקמתי על עיגול "שורות", בשביל לכתוב והוספתי עוד אלמנטים שנראו לי מתאימים...

New layout: Gematria - דף מעוצב חדש: גימטריה

Another layout I created using my paper packs. It is based on this digital template - love the layout & design! This time I used the cover of Sweet Dreams paper pack to create strips, which I cut in different angles and adhered as frame. The story of the picture: Yaara learned Gematria at school (till 10), so she practiced on me... I was able to figure out the first word (which means dad) and then she explained the other word "arrive" (at this moment I told her to freeze and took a picture). She meant to ask "When will daddy arrive?"...

דף מעוצב נוסף שיצרתי עם הדפים שעיצבתי. הדף מבוסס על תבנית דיגיטלית מכאן - מאד אהבתי את הפריסה והעיצוב. הפעם השתמשתי בכריכה של חבילת "חלומות מתוקים": חתכתי רצועות ואז גזרתי בזוויות שונות והדבקתי כמסגרת.

הסיפור מאחורי התמונה, כמו שנכתב בדף: יערה למדה בבית הספר גימטריה עד 10. אחרי שהצלחתי להבין שכתבה "אבא" היא הסבירה שהמילה השניה היא "יגיע" (בשלב הזה אמרתי לה לעצור הכל ולהישאר בפוזיציה הזאת, שלפתי את המצלמה וצילמתי :-)). בעצם היא התכוונה לשאול: מתי אבא יגיע?... מכיוון שהם למדו רק עד 10, היא לא ידעה לתרגם את הע' ל-70, אז כתבה את האות :-)

New layout: One of the aunts, if not the... - דף מעוצב חדש: אחת הדודות אם לא ה...

This layout was inspired by sketch #103 @ Twisted Sketches. The twist was Stop. I looked for pictures that might fit this word. I found this picture, in which my daughters are on my SIL's sling at Sde Boker. She told them a story and shook them, they laughed and enjoyed it very much... They screamed with pleasure! I enjoyed creating this page - I have a special feeling for it LOL... What do you think? How do like the papers?

הדף הזה עוצב בהשראת סקיצה מספר 103 באתר Twisted Sketches. האתגר היה "עצור". חיפשתי תמונות שיגרמו לי לאסוציאציה מהמילה הזאת... נראה לי שמצאתי דווקא את "לא לעצור!" בתמונה רואים את יערה ומור על הערסל בחצר של גיסתי בשדה בוקר. היא סיפרה להן סיפור ונענעה וזעזעה את הערסל, הן צחקו ונהנו מאד.. אפילו צרחו מרוב אושר. אישית, מאד נהניתי לעבוד על הדף הזה.... מה דעתכן? איך הדפים בעיניכן?

Few days ago we celebrated Israel's 63 Independence Day and last Friday we celebrated in my little girl's (Mor) kindergarten. After singing, dancing and other activities - each family got a balloon and a piece of paper, in order to make a wish, write it down, attach it to the balloon and release it in the open air.... There were many wishes for Israel that day: Peace, Hope, Love, Health for all, Happiness, etc. I wish Gil'ad Shalit will be able to join his family soon.... What's your wish??

לפני מספר ימים חגגנו את יום העצמאות ה-63 של ישראל וביום שישי האחרון חגגו בגן של מור הקטנה שלי. אחרי השירים, הריקודים ושאר ההצגות שעשו הילדים כל משפחה קיבלה בלון ופתק, על מנת לכתוב משאלה (למדינת ישראל), לחבר לבלון ולהפריח... נאמרו ונכתבו המון משאלות כמו שלום, בטחון, תקווה, אהבה, שמחה, בריאות לכולם וכו'... אני מאחלת שגלעד שליט יחזור מהר הביתה, למשפחה שלו... מה אתם מאחלים??

New layout: Very Happy Holiday - דף מעוצב חדש: חג יפה כל כך

This layout was inspired on sketch #98 @ Twisted Sketches. The twist was paint. I know we just celebrated Passover, and I have few months delay, but I used pictures from Mor's Hanukkah celebration at her kindergarten. I love Hanukkah celebration with the ultra-violet light on the children's white clothes, the candles and dreidels - it's one of my favorite holidays!

I recently joined "Crafting Jewish Style"'s design team and I just couldn't wait using their products! When I saw these pictures I knew I had to create a scrapbook page with CJS's papers. What do you think? I love it!

הדף מבוסס על סקיצה מס' 98 באתר Twisted Sketches. האתגר היה צבע. נכון שחג הפסח נגמר לאחרונה ואני מתעכבת עם התמונות - אבל כשראיתי את התמונות ממסיבת חנוכה בגן של מור הבנתי שאני צריכה ליצור איתן. אחד החגים שאני יותר אוהבת זה חג החנוכה. אורות האולטרה-סגול עם הבגדים הלבנים של הילדודס, הנרות, הסביבונים - חג שמח כזה!

לאחרונה התקבלתי לצוות העיצוב של Crafting Jewish Style, שמייצרים דפים ומדבקות של חגי ישראל - ראש השנה, חנוכה ופסח. אחרי שבחרתי את התמונות - ידעתי מיד באיזה דפים להשתמש. אני מאד אוהבת את התוצאה, מה דעתכם?

New card: Green-White swap - כרטיס חדש: החלפת ירוק-לבן

I created this card for a swap of green-white cards. I wanted to "break" the green, so I added the mushroom and stamped the snail on matching paper. I feel there's something missing, or maybe I the green has stopped working for me (or i have stopped working for it... LOL). I recently created another green card which I didn't like... I hope the one the will get it in the swap will like it better than me...

The card also participate in following challenges: Stamp Insanity - Green, Paper Play - Shades of green.

הכנתי את הכרטיס הזה עבור החלפת כרטיסים בירוק-לבן. רציתי לשבור את הירוק, אז הוספתי את הפטריה והחתמתי שבלול על נייר תואם. איכשהו משהו חסר לי בכרטיס, או אולי הירוק ואני הפסקנו להסתדר. לאחרונה יצרתי עוד כרטיס ירוק שגם לא ממש אהבתי. בשניהם גם יש את מוטיבים השבלולים והפטריות - אולי זו הבעיה? הם דווקא חמודים... אתמול קיבלתי עדכון מחתולי8, ליאור, שקיבלה את הכרטיס ונהנתה ממנו - אבל זה לא חוכמה - יש לה חיבה מיוחדת לשבלולים לאחרונה :-)

New layout: Book Worm - דף מעוצב חדש: תולעת ספרים

Yaara is a book worm, since the day she was born (almost), you can see other book worm layout here. We were on a family vacation, it was almost midnight and Yaara said that she is not tired. I asked her if she want to read and she said yes. We found out that we didn't take her books, so I suggested she read mine, about the game theory... After 10 minutes of reading (and pretending it's interesting) she decided to go to sleep.

יערה, תולעת ספרים ידועה, מהיום שנולדה (פחות או יותר) - דף מעוצב נוסף שמתעד את העניין אפשר לראות כאן. היינו בחופשה משפחתית, השעה כמעט חצות ויערה טענה שהיא לא עייפה.. שאלתי אם היא רוצה לקרוא והיא ענתה שכן. מכיוון שלא ארזנו ספרי קריאה בשבילה ובשביל מור, הצעתי לה את הספר שאני קראתי, על תורת המשחקים. אחרי 10 דקות של קריאה (בהן היא טענה שהספר מעניין) היא פרשה לשנת לילה טובה...

I created this layout with Yaara's picture while taking a shower. She fixed her hair and told us: Look at me, I look like a rooster! Mor looked at answered: No, you don't - you look like a zebra.... Yaara made a zebra face and I took the shot... What do you say? Does she look like a zebra or a rooster?

בדף אפשר לראות תמונה של יערה מהמקלחת... היא סידרה לעצמה כרבולת בשיער ואמרה לנו: תראו, אני דומה לתרנגול. מור העיפה מבט ואמרה לה: לא נכון! את דומה לזברה! יערה עשתה נסיון לחקות זברה ואני שלפתי מצלמה וצילמתי... מה אתם אומרים: היא דומה לזברה או תרנגול?

Ink: Stamp Pad

New layout: Magic Hat - דף מעוצב חדש: כובע קסמים

This layout was inspired by sketch #54 @ Tuesday Trio. The extra challenge was: red & white. On December 7th, Mor came from kindergarten with this great hat, made of paper. It has a little feather and it is based on Hebrew song, named "Magic Hat" by Lea Goldberg. You can watch it here on youtube... Anyway - it was so lovely so I had to take may pictures.... LOL

הדף הזה מבוסס על סקיצה #54 בשלוש בשלישי. האתגר הפעם היה צבעים אדום ולבן.

ב-7 לדצמבר מור חזרה מהגן עם הכובע המקסים הזה, עשוי כולו מנייר, עם נוצה קטנה (עפ"י השיר "כובע קסמים" של לאה גולדברג). אפשר לראות את ריטה, שרה את השיר ב-youtube כאן... בכל אופן - מצאתי הזדמנות נהדרת לצלם עוד כמה תמונות :-)
