This week, Scrappy Hands' challenge is Origami...
Isn't it a challenge? adding origami piece to card / layout.

In few days some of us will celebrate Valentines, and some of us will just want to show their love to someone, I decided to fold a heart....

And here's another variation... which should go to my husband? :-)

New layout: Judoka

When Mor was in pre-school (5-6) she went to Judo classes.
These pictures were taken during regional contest - all the kids (of same age) had a shared class, experiencing for the first time training with new opponents...

The sketch was inspired by PageMaps 7th anniversary sketch, rotated cw.

I used the counterfeit kit I assembled for May...

New month, new kit, new layout: Master Chef

Are you ready for another month? I am.. :-)
A new inspiration for  a kit was published @ CKC.
I decided to use the papers of one of the kits I have designed, plus few more papers:

As in previous kits, I will select the embellishments while creating the layouts...
I will try to use the same embellishments during the whole month, to challenge myself to create different layouts from same materials...

Anyway - my first layout using this kit, inspired by Stuck Sketches, May 1st sketch:

I sewed hem for a pair of pants and Yaara found the part that I cut-off and put it on her head... Immediately she went to bring her notebook and play restaurant... So... what would you like to order?

New layout: Face - דף מעוצב חדש: פרצופית

"יצא לי" דף מוזר... בחירה מוזרה של צבעים / דוגמאות על הנייר (שאריות כמובן)... בחירה מוזרה של קישוטונים (שלא קשורים לכלום?)... ולמרות כל זה - הוא נחמד לי (קצת מוזר, אבל נחמד). אולי בגלל התמונות של יערה מלפני כמעט 7 שנים?

Strange layout... Strange mix of colors / patterns / textures... Strange pick of embellishments... But even though it's strange - I like it :-)

New layout: The beauty and the beast - דף מעוצב חדש: היפה והחיה

לפני חודשיים וחצי בערך אורן שיחק קצת עם המצלמה שלי וצילם את יערה בשחור-לבן... יערה זיהתה את הפוטנציאל והתחילה לעשות פרצופים. הפה שלה כל כך מצחיק עכשיו - חסרות לה שיניים פה, יש לה "תוספות" שיניים שם (שיניים צמחו עוד לפני ששיני החלב נפלו)... אני קוראת לה כריש, כי יש לה שני סטים של שיניים :-)

בכל מקרה, לפני שהכנתי דף עם התמונה הזאת, הראיתי לה וביקשתי את רשותה... כשהיא ראתה את התמונה היא צחקה: "אמאל'ה, מפלצת!" וברור שלא היתה לה בעיה שאכין איתה דף... אולי היא התרגלה אלי כבר :-)

האתגר של סקיצה מספר 131 של Twisted Sketches היה אדום. ידעתי שאני רוצה אדום עם נקודות ובמקום לחפש במגוון הדפים, פניתי לאזור הבדים ומצאתי מיד את מבוקשי... גזרתי אותו בהנאה, הוספתי את הסרט האפור למעלה, כדי להסתיר את הפרימה האופציונלית שלו, הוספתי תגים, שיצרתי מדפים מקולקציית ילד פלא עוד קצת סרטים, כותרת ומספיק...

אולי בגלל התמונות, אולי בגלל יערה, אולי סתם - אני מאד אוהבת את הדף... ואתן?

Few months ago Oren was playing with my camera, taking pictures of Yaara... She saw it and started to make funny faces. Her mouth is so funny now, with missing teeth in some places and extra teeth in other... We call her a shark, because she has 2 sets of teeth :-)

Anyway - I asked her if it's OK with her that I create a layout with this "monster" picture. When I showed her the picture she laughed and says: It's a monster!

Anyway - the challenge for sketch #131 @ Twisted Sketches was "Red" - I took a red dotted fabric, created tags with a heart shaped fabric (I cut it), ribbon tied to each tag, the title and a lot of smiles and happiness because of this layout.

I love it... What do you think?

New card: Owlways in my heart - כרטיס חדש: תמיד בליבי

ביקשתי מיערה לבחור 3 דברים שאצור איתם כרטיס. היא בחרה בפאנץ' פינה חדש, הפנינים הקטנות והחותמת של הינשוף החמוד (אולי בגלל הלבבות?). למה ביקשתי ממנה לבחור 3 דברים אתן שואלות? או! שאלה מצויינת! מדובר באתגר של יום 277 של אתר 365 כרטיסים: לבחור 3 רכיבים... התהליך היה נחמד במיוחד מכיוון שיערה ומור יצרו בעצמן כרטיסים (דומים אך שונים). ההנאה ליצור איתן ביחד גדולה ומיוחדת, למרות שזה מאריך פי 3 את זמן יצירה של כל כרטיס. מה איתכן? אתן יוצרות עם הילדים?

I asked Yaara to choose 3 items for me to create a card with. She chose my new Fiskars corner punch & emboss, small pearls & the owl stamp. The reason I asked her to choose was the challenge for day 277 @ 365 Cards: Pick 3. It was a fun process, since Yaara & Mor created cards themselves - I enjoy creating with them (even though it triples the time dedicated for each card). Do you create with your kids?

New card: Best Wishes - כרטיס חדש

את הכרטיס החמוד והפשוט הזה הכנתי תוך שימוש בדוגמאות שעל הכריכה מתוך קולקציית ילד פלא.

חתכתי ריבועים ועיגלתי להם פינה אחת.

חתכתי עיגול מסולסל ופאנץ' עגול, שהודבקו זה לזה ואח"כ בדבק ספוג לכרטיס.

החתמתי ברכה כללית אך נחמדה וזהו - הכרטיס מוכן.

שירה, חברה מהעבודה, שעוזבת היום, קיבלה את הכרטיס עם המתנה שהחבר'ה כאן קנו לה... בהצלחה!

I created this cute card with the cover page of one of my paper collections. I cut a scalloped circle and punched a circle... Rounded corners, stamped a sentiment and that's it. Shira, a friend and co-worker, who's leaving today, got it with the present she got from other colleagues. Good luck!

The card fits day 275 @ 365 Cards: Divide & Conquer.

New cards: Greetings - כרטיסים חדשים: ברכות

לא ידעתי שאני מכורה לכרטיסים... תמיד חשבתי שאני יותר הטיפוס של הדפים המעוצבים, אבל זה לא כל כך רע לטעום משני העולמות, לא?

בכל אופן - את הכרטיסים הבאים יצרתי בהשראת האתגר של יום 271 באתר 365 כרטיסים: לשמור על פשטות (דף מדוגם אחד, 2 קישוטים וברכה / כיתוב).

השתמשתי בדף מחבילת ילד פלא, סרט וצ'יפבורד מתאימים... התחלתי בכרטיס אחד אבל הפשטות (והחן) קראה לי מיד להכין עוד אחד...

איזה מהם יותר מוצא חן בעיניכן?

I didn't realize that I'm addicted to cards... I though that I'm more layouts-kind-of-girl, but being both is not a bad thing :-)

Anyway - These cards were inspired by day 271 @ 365 Cards: Keep it simple (1 patterned paper, 2 embellishments & a sentiment).

I used my paper with a matching chipboard & ribbon. Because it was so simple, I created two of those... which one you like better?

New card: Happy Birthday - כרטיס חדש: יום הולדת שמח

This week the challenge @ Tuesday Trio was black & white for the main embellishment. I wanted to create (sort of) masculine card, so I chose these colors... I wanted to create a separation between the flower and the background paper and all the layers in sketch #87 helped me with it.

השבוע האתגר בשלוש בשלישי היה אלמנט מרכזי בשחור-לבן. המטרה העיקרית היתה ליצור כרטיס גברי משהו (פרחים בהכרח מנטרלים את הגבריות? מה אתן אומרות? תכתבו לי :-)) - לכן בחרתי את הצבעים האלה. עוד מחשבה היתה ליצור הפרדה גדולה ככל האפשר בין הפרח (הגברי! סתם, אולי לא ממש) לבין השכבה התחתונה ואין ספק שסקיצה #87 עזרה לי בעניין הזה.

New Mini Album: Hot-Air Balloons - מיני אלבום חדש: מטס כדורים פורחים

On February we went to see a hot-air balloons. Even before we left our home, I started to create the base for this mini album... I used one of my new stacks and I'm proud of this mini. You can click the pictures to see the details:

בפברואר האחרון נסענו לבתרונות רוחמה לראות מטס כדורים פורחים. עוד לפני שיצאנו מהבית הכנתי את הבסיס למיני אלבום הזה (מי יודע, אולי אפילו נסענו לראות אותו רק בשביל התמונות :-) סתם, סתם...) השתמשתי בסטאק ילד פלא שעיצבתי - אני אוהבת את המיני הזה.. שימו לב שאפשר ללחוץ על התמונות כדי להגדיל אותן ולראות את הפרטים:

Yesterday night I was at a crop night @ Vitrina's. I created some cards. This is the first one I created. I used Mojo Monday sketch (pretty old, don't remember the number). I ended up creating 2 that are the same, and only different sentiment (one was Thank You, and this is the second).

אתמול השתתפתי בערב יצירה אצל ויטרינה. במהלך הערב יצרתי כמה וכמה כרטיסים, כולם בהשראת סקיצות ישנות של Mojo Monday. בעבר הורדתי את הסקיצות והדפסתי ואתמול לקחתי איתי ערימת "כרטיסונים" על סקיצות ועבדתי לפיהם. את הכרטיס הזה הכנתי בשני עותקים - אחד ליום הולדת והשני תודה, אותו נתתי לצרויה, לפרוייקט "כנפיים של קרמבו", כמו הכרטיס הזה שכבר שלחתי לה.

Announcement: New Stacks - הודעה חגיגית: סטאקים חדשים

I'm proudly presenting my 4 new stacks. I was working on the designs the last few months, and recently got them printed, as cardstocks, for scrapbookers and card-makers. The stacks are 12X12 inches, acid and lignin free. What do you think? Do you like any of them? I would like to hear your comments and thoughts! More details can be found in scrap.co.il.

אני גאה להציג את 4 הסטאקים החדשים שלי. בחודשים האחרונים עבדתי על העיצוב שלהם והפיכתם מחלום למציאות. הקארדטוקים יכולים לשמש לעיצוב אלבומים והכנת כרטיסים (ועוד ועוד :-)). הסטאקים בגודל 30.5 על 30.5 ס"מ (12 אינץ'), נטולי חומצה וליגנין. מה אתן אומרות? משהו מהם מוצא חן בעיניכן? אשמח לקרוא את הערותיכן ותגובותיכן! עוד פרטים אפשר למצוא באתר סקראפ הישראלי.

New layout: One of the aunts, if not the... - דף מעוצב חדש: אחת הדודות אם לא ה...

This layout was inspired by sketch #103 @ Twisted Sketches. The twist was Stop. I looked for pictures that might fit this word. I found this picture, in which my daughters are on my SIL's sling at Sde Boker. She told them a story and shook them, they laughed and enjoyed it very much... They screamed with pleasure! I enjoyed creating this page - I have a special feeling for it LOL... What do you think? How do like the papers?

הדף הזה עוצב בהשראת סקיצה מספר 103 באתר Twisted Sketches. האתגר היה "עצור". חיפשתי תמונות שיגרמו לי לאסוציאציה מהמילה הזאת... נראה לי שמצאתי דווקא את "לא לעצור!" בתמונה רואים את יערה ומור על הערסל בחצר של גיסתי בשדה בוקר. היא סיפרה להן סיפור ונענעה וזעזעה את הערסל, הן צחקו ונהנו מאד.. אפילו צרחו מרוב אושר. אישית, מאד נהניתי לעבוד על הדף הזה.... מה דעתכן? איך הדפים בעיניכן?
