New cake: Judo - עוגה חדשה: ג'ודו

מור חגגה בגן את יום הולדתה ה-6 וביקשה ממני עוגת ג'ודו (העוגות של שנה שעברה: כאן, כאן וכאן - עוגה דומה, שם שונה...) . היא לומדת ג'ודו מתחילת השנה וקיבלה חגורה סגולה-צהובה לפני כמה חודשים... היא בחרה את צבעי העוגה (עם קצת "הכוונה" ממני) והתחלתי להכין (אחרי שהבנות הלכו לישון)... 

כשהיא ראתה בבוקר את העוגה, היא מיד ביקשה ממני קוקיות, כמו הדמות שעל העוגה והלכה לגן כמו טווס גאה - כיף להיות אמא שלה!

גורה קטנה שלי, אוהבת אותך הכי בעולם ומאחלת לך שתמיד תחייכי מבפנים ותגרמי לנו לחייך איתך :-)

Mor celebrated her 6th birthday at kindergarten, and asked for a Judo cake (last year's cakes: here, here and here (different name)). She takes Judo class and got her purple-yellow belt a couple of months ago... She chose the colors she wanted and I started to work... When she saw the cake, in the morning, she was so excited she asked me to do her hair like the character on the cake.

New Cake: Present - עוגה חדשה: מתנה

התבקשתי להכין עוגה, מצופה בבצק סוכר, עבור מספר ימי הולדת שנחגגו באותו ארוע: 2 תינוקות שהצטרפו למשפחת החוגגים, בן שנה ובת 4.. בגלל שגם בנות וגם בנים חגגו, הצבעים נבחרו להיות ניטרליים (ולא מגדריים) ואני מרוצה מהבחירה. בהתחלה חשבתי אם להכין דמות עבור כל אחד מהחוגגים, אבל זה נראה לי עמוס ולא קשור זה לזה, ולכן החלטתי על עוגת מתנה עם ברכה משותפת לכולם... מה דעתכן?

I was asked to make a fondant cake for few birthdays celebrated on the same occasion. 2 newborns, 1 year & 4 years. Both boys & girls... I decided to create a present cake, with neutral colors that everyone will like. What do you think?

New cake: Smurfs - עוגת בצק סוכר: דרדסים

התבקשתי להכין עוגת בצק סוכר לתומר ומור ("מור הבן", לא מורקי שלי :-)). כאן אפשר לראות את העוגה שהכנתי שנה שעברה לתומר. אני מודעת לזה שלא ממש הצלחתי עם הפרופורציות, אבל הם עדיין חמודים ואני מקווה שהילדים יאהבו אותה. תומר ומור לומדים עם מורקי בגן, אבל גם יערה מוזמנת (האחיות של תומר ומור, רתם ויובל, לומדות עם יערה בכיתה). מזל טוב ילדודס!!

I was asked to create a fondant cake to Tomer & Mor (not my Mor :-)). Last year I made the cake you can see here for Tomer. They asked for the smurfs. The proportions are not very good here, but I hope they will like it. Both Yaara & Mor (mine) are invited... Happy Birthday boys!

Cake: Madagascar - עוגת בצק סוכר: הפינגווינים ממדגסקר

I created this topper for Michael's birthday's cake. The instructions were: create the penguins from Madagascar, sitting on icebergs. So this is what I made:

הכנתי את הטופר הזה לכבוד עוגת יום ההולדת של מיכאל. ההוראות שקיבלתי היו: ליצור את הפינגווינים של מדגסקר, יושבים על קרחונים. זה מה שהכנתי:

New cake: Giraffe - עוגה חדשה: ג'ירפה

Mor celebrated her birthday in kindergarten on Monday, with 2 other children. She asked for a giraffe cake and this is what I did for her:

מור חגגה יום הולדת בגן ביום שני, עם עוד 2 ילדים. היא ביקשה ממני עוגת ג'ירפות. בעקבות הספר "מפתחות הקסם של דידי" הילדים בגן לומדים לדבר ב"שפת הג'ירף" שמלמדת על סבלנות, הקשבה וכו'. מור, כבר שנתיים, מאד מרוכזת בלעשות "מעשים ג'ירפיים" - נכנסה לזה חזק :-) בכל אופן - הנה העוגה שהכנתי לה:

By the way - here you can see the cakes I did last year: one for the kindergarten and one for the afternoon party (it says: Zohar, but we did another one, pretty much the same, for Mor)...

דרך אגב, כאן אפשר לראות את העוגות שהכנתי לה בשנה שעברה: אחת לחגיגה בגן ואחת לאחרי הצהריים, ביום המסיבה לחברים (ספציפית זאת היתה לזהר, אבל למור הכנו בדיוק אותה עוגה)...

Sugar Dough cake - Cat

This is the cake I made for Mor's birthday at the kindergarten. Quite simple, but kids don't care... LOL. As long as she was happy - I was happy!
