New card: Flowers & Butterflies

The newest challenge @ Scrappy Hands is Flowers & Butterflies...
I created 3 cards for the challenge.

The first 2 are more or less the same: I used a new embossing folder, by Darice and butterfly punch. few pearls on each butterfly, and the card is ready:

And the 3rd is different. I haven't used this die & embossing folder for a really long time - now is a good time to use it... All white, with a touch of color to the flower, and same paper used for the butterflies:

Baby cards

Baby cards are always my favorites...
Here's a bunch of them.. Baby girl, baby boy and some supplies I haven't used a while...
Like embossing folders...

And 2 new tools: mini 8 punch (I used it as a border here, but I will use it more on layouts soon)

 And Elizabeth Craft Designs / Karen Burniston die cut.. I love this pop up die!

New cards: Deer to me

In my latest Unity purchase I bought the set "Deer To Me"
And I started to play with it :-)
The colors of the papers (except for the deer) fit the Unity color challenge
I stamped the deer twice.
The first card - Only "mommy deer":

Second - same but different, baby-deer...

And in the third card I used them both, with different sentiment:

New card: Love You

I recently ordered few stamps from Unity. I used to have a subscription, getting many stamps each month. When I realized I use less than I buy - I stopped (but it took me about 2 years to get to this conclusion :-)).

New layout: Family Fun - Ice-skating

October 2011.
Ice-skate "arena" was built in Modi'in (for a month or something).
The girls asked and we went... All of us... And even had fun :-)
The layout is inspired by Unity's challenge.

New card: Happy Holiday

I'm not sure the card should be posted when it's cold and rainy here, but... :-)

New card: Dots (swap)

From time to time I'm being tempted to be a part of a swap... Send a card and receive one.
It usually terrifies me to send to other: "what if she won't like it?", "What if it's too simple?", "What if it's not her style...?", etc.
This is the main reason I keep out of these things... But as I said - from time to time - I get tempted, and sign in.
This swap was about dots. Looking closely (click on the pictures to enlarge) - you can see that each of the colored papers is dots embossed. Embarrassed to admit but I bought this paper pack about 16 months ago and this is the first time I use them...
I like the contrast between the black & white paper  & stamp vs. the colorful butterflies.
I think it's clean and simple, as I like.

New layout: Multi-focal

I want to share another layout I created using my February counterfeit kit: this time the layout focuses on Yaara's new eyeglasses... We went to buy her new glasses, not expecting the number to be changed, just wanted to get her new pair in order for her to be able to have more colors to fit with her clothes...
But - we found out that she now needs for both close & far... Anyway - This is the layout, and she was happy to see that I used the googly eyes for the title :-)

New Layout: Who is a doll?

This layout was inspired by a sketch I got in a multimedia message from a friend.
The layout fits the 2nd challenge of the counterfeit challenges blog: use speech bubbles. I kept thinking - what did she think about when I took the pictures... I asked her what could she think about (7 1/2 years ago LOL) and even asked my husband... but I didn't get any good idea... Eventually I decided that my husband will "speak" - Who's a doll? :-) Yaara is, of course!

4th layout using  my February counterfeit kit:

3. Girl in a Basket
This month also - there is a lot of satisfaction by challenging myself: creating more & more layouts using the same papers / elements and varying the style with different embellishments...

New layout: a Girl in a Basket

Another layout using my February counterfeit kit.
I took a picture that was taken 7 years ago :-) Yaara, 17 months old, was at her grandparents apartment and they put her in this basket and she enjoyed the experience... Of course she was smiling when the picture was taken - it's like a reflex: she sees camera and smiles...
The layout was inspired by February Stack-a-holic challenge @ DCWV blog.
I tried to stick to the sketch and give it my touch - with the elements I used in previous layouts (first and second layouts created with the the same kit): washi tape, bakers twine, the border punch, the wood letters...
