This layout was inspired by a sketch I got in a multimedia message from a friend.
The layout fits the 2nd challenge of the counterfeit challenges blog: use speech bubbles. I kept thinking - what did she think about when I took the pictures... I asked her what could she think about (7 1/2 years ago LOL) and even asked my husband... but I didn't get any good idea... Eventually I decided that my husband will "speak" - Who's a doll? :-) Yaara is, of course!
4th layout using my February counterfeit kit:
1. Laughing
2. Who's the Criminal?
3. Girl in a Basket
This month also - there is a lot of satisfaction by challenging myself: creating more & more layouts using the same papers / elements and varying the style with different embellishments...
What do you think? :-)

My 1st Rag Rug

Today i finished to crochet my first "rag rug"... It's made of tricot threads. The diameter is ~1m and it's for my girls room. As you can see - they love it (which is the best reward ever!).
Tomorrow, after the apartment will be clean - we'll get rid of their current rug and put the new one :-)
I'm excited!
Would love to read your comments :-)

New layout: a Girl in a Basket

Another layout using my February counterfeit kit.
I took a picture that was taken 7 years ago :-) Yaara, 17 months old, was at her grandparents apartment and they put her in this basket and she enjoyed the experience... Of course she was smiling when the picture was taken - it's like a reflex: she sees camera and smiles...
The layout was inspired by February Stack-a-holic challenge @ DCWV blog.
I tried to stick to the sketch and give it my touch - with the elements I used in previous layouts (first and second layouts created with the the same kit): washi tape, bakers twine, the border punch, the wood letters...

New layout: Who's the criminal?

I created the layout using the papers of my February counterfeit kit.
Here's the first layout I created with the same papers and techniques...
I enjoyed using the same bakers twine, border punch, washi & fabric tapes...
I was inspired by this sketch @ Unscripted Sketches (#196).
The pictures were taken on June 2011 - we took the girls to the beach.
The title says: Who's the criminal? (it's a line from Israeli song)...
Mor filled the bucket with water and threw it on Oren & Yaara.... It was very funny!

After my success (all relative - it was a success for me) with last month's counterfeit kit (I believe it was 7 layouts) - I decided to join the challenge again...
This month the inspiration is this kit - January 2013 by ScrapTastic. You can see the details in the counterfeit kit challenge blog.
I chose cardstocks and patterned papers, but just as last time - I don't want to decide which embellishments I will use, I collect them while I scrap.
Anyway - this is the first layout I created with the kit - I hope there will be more to come, and pretty soon...
The layout also fits the next challenges:
* The Paper Girls Challenge - Challenge 24: Wood elements
* Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Would like to read what you think :-)
