New layout: In & Out

The second project I created as a Guest Designer position for Stamp by Step was a wintry layout. I tried to use as much supplies as I can, as still leave the layout clean & simple.
In the picture you can see Tal, my SIL's son digging in the snow in Denver.

I used:
Cardstock & Stickers: Miss Elizabeth's, Pebbles Inc. Snow Fun Creative Pad
Ink: Ink It Up! black ink
Tools: Cuttlebug & Embossing folders
Pen: Sharpie
Letter Stickers: Deflect-o

Sewing: Marker pens roll

Yesterday we went to visit my friend. She gave birth 10 days ago - a baby girl named Sha'ked. Her firstborn son, Ofir, is almost 3 years. About 2 years ago I gave my friend a 8X8 album I made with his first months pictures. This time I gave her a pre-made album for baby girl and I sewed a marker pens roll for Ofir.

The front & back fabrics are old pants of mine and the blue fabric is my husband's old shirt - this is my way to recycle... LOL

Anyway - here's the roll: empty, full, from the back & front, rolled & wrapped:

What do you say?
I think I should start sewing more complicated things (too afraid at this point!)

Sewing: Sewing Organizer

I tried to sew something a little harder than the items I sewed so far. I took a book by brother bought me for my birthday (about 5 months ago) and I chose to sew a sewing organizer. It wasn't hard, but challenging - cutting the fabric, understanding the instructions...
I like it :-)

What do you say? :-)
