Chunky Book: Winter - ספר שמן: חורף

I created a chunky book page for Lior, who celebrated her birthday last Thursday. She loves winter and all kinds of blues (color :-))... When the page is closed there are chunky candles...

הכנתי דף בספר שמן לכבוד חגיגת יום ההולדת של ליאור, חתולי8. מכיוון שהיא אוהבת כחול וחורף נעניתי להעדפותיה ויצרתי לפיהן. כשהדף סגור, יש נרות שמנמנים (כל נר מסמל ... שנים) וה"דגל" מסמן את כיוון הנשיפה :-)

When you open it - you see the winter theme: 3D umbrella in the middle, snowflakes on the right side and rain drops on the left:

New layout: What's missing? - דף מעוצב חדש: מה חסר?

This picture makes me smile (but with all teeth :-)). The layout was inspired by sketch #115 @ Twisted Sketches (the twist is clear - the glasses are clear also :-)). It took me a while to choose the picture, but when I did, I knew which colors I wanted to use... The ribbon on the left side is one of my first purchases many years ago - and I used it for the first time in this project. finally...

What do you say?

התמונה בדף הזה גורמת לי לחייך (אבל עם פה מלא שיניים :-)). הדף עוצב בהשראת סקיצה מספר 115 של Twisted Sketches, כאשר האתגר היה Clear וזה התאים לי למשקפיים של יערה. כנראה שבגלל האתגר לקח לי זמן לבחור את התמונה, אבל אחרי שבחרתי אותה היה לי כבר מאד ברור איזה צבעים יהיו בדף. את הסרט שבצד השמאלי קניתי לפני הרבה שנים, באחת מקניות הסקראפ הראשונות שלי וחנכתי אותו לראשונה בדף הזה - סוף סוף!

Swan - ברבור

The other day I participated in one of Mali's workshop: sew a a swan.... It was a very nice experience, visiting her studio, meeting some great women and not carrying my sewing machine... I took a picture of my private swan and a group pictures of all the participants' swans...

לפני כ-10 ימים השתתפתי סדנא של מלי חוט ומחט במסגרת הקומונה מקום קטן ליצירה: סדנא לתפירת ברבור... היה ממש ממש נחמד, לבקר בסטודיו של מלי, לפגוש עוד נשים ולתפור בלי לסחוב את המכונה מהבית ;-)

צילמתי את הברבור שהכנתי וגם את שאר הברבורים של המשתתפות בסדנא.

מאד נהנתי!

New little bags - תיקים קטנים

I found this cute tutorial and thought I should make it for Yaara & Mor. I think the result could have been better if I had a pink bias tape and a different ribbon. oh well....

מצאתי הדרכה מתוקה לתיקים קטנים וחמודים וישר חשבתי להכין כאלה ליערה ומור.

הן מאד אוהבות אותם אבל אני חושבת שהיה יכול לצאת יותר מוצלח אם היה לי סרט אלכסון ורוד (שמתאים לבד) ואם היו לי שרוכים עגולים, כידיות הנשיאה...
