Happy New Year

Today is a special day: My little girl went to first grade!

A fresh start, a new beginning...

Another new year's card...

New layout: green girl

I created this layout few weeks ago. Splash of color on the solid background paper, acrylic paint as border of the pictures, squares cut as triangles to create a chevron pattern... Sewed on patterned paper... Added embellishments - brads with matching colors (to my imagination theme: blue for the sky, green for the grass and brown for the ground?)....
Anyway - I love this pictures, taken ~7 years ago :-)

I appreciate your comments!

New card: Happy New year

Another card created on Thursday night... Happy New year!
2 die cuts - scalloped circle + larger circle, apple paper + matting, lace + matting, apple punch and letter stickers...

New Exploding Box: Shana Tova (Happy new year)

What can you do with scoring board?
This is the topic of today's post @ Prcatical Scrappers...
I chose to create this exploding box for the Jewish calendar new year....
What do you do with your scoring board? :-) I'd like to read!

Thanks for visitng, I appreciate your comments :-)

New card: Good Luck

Today's post at Practical Scrappers is about back to school cards & layouts.
I created this simple window card with my collection: School Is Cool.
Tearing the small papers ,and inking the edges... Adding greeting with small letters... Adding small embellishments from the kit cover - the bag is on the inner paper.

Mor saw this card and says: I know who can get this card! I am! I'm going to first grade!
I can't believe my baby is going to first grade - Good luck Morky :-)

What do you think?
