New layout: Second Grade - דף מעוצב חדש: שלום כיתה ב

Yaara is in second grade. Big girl :-) I used my new stack School Is Cool to create this layout - right after she entered the classroom on the first day to school. Every pupil that comes to the classroom is looking for his star in a basket and put it on the board. When the teacher comes, she sees who's in and who's missing...

I'm not sure who was more excited - the parents or the children. I was excited for sure!

יערונת התחילה את כיתה ב' - ילדה גדולה באמת! השתמשתי בדפים מהקולקצייה החדשה: School Is Cool בשילוב של תמונה מהרגע שנכנסה לכיתה בראשון לספטמבר. כל תלמיד שמגיע לכיתה, מחפש את הכוכב עם השם שלו בסלסלה ותולה אותו על הלוח. כשהמורה מגיעה - היא מיד יכולה לדעת מי הגיע ומי חסר....

אני לא יודעת מי יותר מתרגש באירועים כאלה - ההורים או הילדים, מה שבטוח - אני התרגשתי :-)

New layout: 1st day - דף מעוצב חדש: יום ראשון בחטיבה הצעירה

Yesterday was so exciting: Yaara is going to second grade, and Mor is going to pre-school kindergarten. The kindergarten is located inside the school and combined with the first grade - they have common activities during the day (of course they also have things in separate). Mor was very proud to wear the school's uniform, put her bag on the shoulders and go to the first day. We know she's in good hands, with the kindergarten teacher - Ravit (who was also Yaara's kindergarten teacher).

אתמול היה יום מרגש במיוחד: יערה הלכה לכיתה ב' ומור התחילה גן חובה. מור הולכת לחט"צ - חטיבה צעירה - שבה כיתה והגן נקראים 'בית', יש להם פעילויות משותפות, וכמובן פעילויות בנפרד. מור כל כך חיכתה כבר להיות גדולה וללכת לבית הספר, כמו יערה, והיתה נורא גאה ללבוש את חולצת בית הספר וללכת לגן, ליום הראשון של הלימודים. אנחנו בטוחים שהשנה תהיה טובה, היות והיא שובצה לגננת שאנחנו מאד אוהבים ומעריכים - רוית (שהיתה גם הגננת של יערה לפני שנתיים).

New layout: Good Day - דף מעוצב חדש: יום טוב

When I saw the twist of sketch #81 @ Tuesday Trio I looked for a picture that will look good with distressed techniques. I knew I wanted to use sort-of kraft paper, create a window in it, adhere transparency and put the picture behind it... Next step was to find the right papers. On August 15 we celebrated our 10th anniversary, and this picture you can see we had a good day. I found some "love" papers from the same collection and used the sketch as guideline. I like it :-)

כשראיתי את הטוויסט של סקיצה 81 של שלוש בשלישי הבנתי שאני צריכה למצוא תמונה שתתאים ליישון (לא עם דיו). ידעתי שהיישון יהיה על נייר קראפט - שבו חתכתי חלון והדבקתי שקף, את התמונה שמתי מתחת... השלב הבא היה למצוא דפים נכונים. בגלל שלא מזמן, ב-15 לאוגוסט חגגנו 10 שנות נישואים, ומכיוון שאפשר לראות שהיה לנו יום טוב, בחרתי דפים ברוח האהבה... פינישים אחרונים: דודלינג, קישוטונים וכו' - ואני מרוצה. סגנון שונה אך דומה :-)

New layout: Ride my Bike - דף מעוצב חדש: קסדה בראש טוב

Yaara & Mor loves to ride their bicycles... They love to ride few meters, stop their bike and pretend they go to school, to the doctor, to their grandparents, etc... They go off their bicycles, talk a little and then continue to ride few more meters and so on.... I think it's a little strange - if you want to ride your bicycle - why do you stop every minute?? But it's their game and I'm there to take pictures :-)

יערה ומור מאד אוהבות לרכב על אופניים... הן רוכבות כמה מטרים, עוצרות, יורדות מהאופניים, משחקות בכאילו הן חנו ליד בית הספר / הרופאה / סבא-סבתא וכו', מקשקשות קצת ביניהן וחוזרות לרכב עוד כמה מטרים, ושוב ושוב... בעיניי זה קצת מוזר - אם אתן רוצות לרכב על האופניים תרכבו - למה לעצור ולרדת כל כמה דקות? בכל אופן זה המשחק שלהן ואני שם (בין היתר) בשביל לצלם :-)
