נכון שהתמונה הזאת פשוט מעולה? 

יערה, תינוקת מתוקה, עם עיניים גדולות ויפות, חיוך שובה לב - אושר טהור!

ישבתי על כסא ויערונת באה אלי, מחזיקה לי את הברכיים... לצערי אני לא זוכרת למה צחקנו - אבל אין לי כל ספק שהלב שלי התחמם באותו רגע. כמה אהבה!!

השתמשתי בשאריות דפים עבור הרקע לתמונה ובעיגול מצד שמאל למעלה בשביל לשבור את המראה של הרצועות.

טיפות של דיו שחור ללכלך (בשליטה), קישוטים עגולים למיניהם, דגלונים על סיכות תפירה עם ראש עגול.. וזה הכל :-)

אשמח לקרוא מה דעתכן...

Isn't this picture GREAT?? Yaara as a baby, with bright eyes, gorgeous smile - pure happiness. I was sitting on a chair and she came, holding my knees... I don't know why we laughed but I'm sure my heart filled with love.

I used scraps as background for the picture and a circle - in order to "break" these stripes.

I also used black ink (liquid) to make an organized mess, some dew drops, brads & buttons, flags on sewing pins - and that's it.

New card: Make a wish - כרטיס חדש: הביעו משאלה

אולי תצחקו אבל... אני יושבת בחדר במלון בצפון קרולינה, אחרי 12 שעות טיסה מישראל לפילדלפיה, המתנה של כמעט שעתיים לטיסת ההמשך, שארכה שעה וחצי נוספות.

שכרתי רכב, הגעתי למלון (מרחק 40 דקות נסיעה בערך) והתחלתי "לטייל". בינתיים הטיולים שלי הרחיקו עד למרכז החנויות הקרוב... מייקל'ס היה הראשון.

לא הצלחתי להתאפק (לא באמת ניסיתי :-)) וקניתי לי קצת קשקושים. ועכשיו, בנסיון לחמוק מהג'ט לג ו"לסחוב" עד כמה שיותר מאוחר, בשביל פוטנציאל לשנת לילה סבירה - אני מנסה להכין כרטיסים...

באתר 365 כרטיסים פרסמו את "סקיצה של יום ראשון" - הבעיה שאין שם ממש סקיצה, אבל לפי הכרטיסים האחרים - דמיינתי את הסקיצה ויצרתי את הכרטיס הבא.

אגב, אני כן מתכננת לטייל באיזור (ולא רק בחנויות) - יש עוד סופ"ש לפניי, וגם ה-4 ביולי, ככה שא למישהי יש רעיונות מה לעשות פה באיזור - אשמח מאד לשמוע... שמעתי שמשעמם פה!!

אז מה דעתכן?

You may laugh but... I'm sitting in my hotel room, in North Carolina, after 12 hours flight from Israel to Philadelphia, almost 2 hours connection and another hour and a half flying to Charlotte... 

Renting a car, put the suitcase in my room, and go "tour the area". In the meantime I visited few stores... Michael's was the first.

I couldn't resist and bought some stuff (you can't blame me, right?) and now, trying to avoid the jet lag - scrapping till I drop.

Anyway, inspired by the sketch of day 123 @365 cards (the sketch doesn't appear - but I guessed it based on the DT's cards) I created this card...

By the way - I do plan to tour the area (non-shopping related), but I was told NC is BORING... If anyone has an idea - I'll be more than grateful!

New layout: Grandpa in love - דף מעוצב חדש: סבא מאוהב

אני לא יודעת לתאר במילים כמה אבא שלי אוהב את יערה ומור. בכל הזדמנות, עם כל אחד, הוא תמיד מתמוגג ומספר עליהן. תמיד עם כל כך הרבה אהבה. אפילו אהבה עיוורת אפשר לקרוא לזה... לא משנה מה הן יעשו או יגידו - הוא יחשוב שזה הכי מדהים בעולם...

עד לפני כשנתיים הוא היה מבקר אותנו פעם בשבוע, משחק איתן, מקריא להן סיפורים וסתם "סופג" - לראות אותן, לשמוע מקרוב, להרגיש...

קראתי לדף הזה סבא מאוהב ונראה לי שהכותרת קולעת...

שמתי לב שיש עוד כמה דפים שהכנתי עם החולצה שיערה לובשת. למשל זה וגם זה, אחרי שיערה כנראה גדלה, והחולצה עברה למור :-)

I can't express in words how much my father loves my daughters. Ever since Yaara was born he talks about her (and 2 years later, about Mor as well) every chance he has, with EVERYONE! 

They meet at least once a week. Till 2 years ago, he came to visit us every week, reading stories (can be seen in this layout), play with them (can be seen here) - and just see them, hear them, feel them...

I chose the title: Grandpa In Love, I think it description is correct...

I noticed that I have more layouts in which Yaara & Mor are wearing the same red shirt (that Yaara is wearing in this pic): here and here.

New card: You're the best - כרטיס חדש לגננת הכי בעולם

את הכרטיס הזה הכנתי לרוית, הגננת של מור.

החותמת על הלוח אומרת "you're the best" ובאמת - אין כמו רוית! הגננת הכי טובה בעולם! אחת הגננות אם לא ה...

יערה גם זכתה ללמוד איתה בגן חובה וידענו שנילחם כדי שגם מור תהנה מהזכות הזו. למזלנו ושמחתנו הספיק רק לבקש אותה (ולהדגיש עם כמה קוים ומארקר) - ומור שובצה לגן.

רוית - שיהיה בהצלחה בגן החדש, הילדים שתלמדי הרוויחו בגדול!

I created this card for Mor's kindergarten teacher. The bulletin board says: you're the best, and Ravit is THE BEST! Yaara also enjoyed a year with her, and learned a lot and we knew we would fight to have Mor in her kindergarten. Lucky for us - all we had to do is request, but this was a great year. I wish her all the best for next years to come. I know she will bring her quality to every place she goes.

New layout: Jenga - דף מעוצב חדש: ג'נגה (לבנים נופלות?)

במסגרת זמן האיכות המשפחתי אנחנו משחקים ומצלמים תמונה משפחתית (נכון, אני קצת אובססיבית, אבל אני כל כך נהנית לשמר את הזכרונות!).

באחת מסופי השבוע שיחקנו "לבנים נופלות" (ג'נגה ג'נגה). לא זוכרת מי ניצח - כולנו ניצחנו עם ה"ביחד" שלנו - אבל ההשראה לעיצוב באה מהמשחק עצמו.

עכשיו, כשאני כותבת את הפוסט (שבועיים-שלושה אחרי שיצרתי את הדף), אני חושבת שאולי הייתי צריכה לחתוך מלבנים במקום ריבועים.

היתה כאן הרבה עבודה בחיתוך, בסידור שלהם, תוך התחשבות ביישור ובצבעים ובמציאת קישוטים מתאימים.

אז מה דעתכן?

During our quality time as family, we play games and take pictures (I know, I'm obsessed, by I love it, treasuring the little moments). The other day we played few games, Jenga was one of them. I can't remember who won (an I think we all won, having good time together) - but the layout was inspired by the activity... I think that now (2-3 weeks after creating the layout, when I write the post), I would have done rectangles instead of squares. But I like it. It was a lot of work, cutting the squares, trying to align them as much as I can, matching the colors and finding the right composition and embellishments.
