I wanted to create a layout using scraps of papers...
I took these pictures of Yaara, reading a story she wrote (and created a "book"). The title of her book is: 5 castles equal 1 giant castle... On the "back cover" of her book, she wrote: Yaara Benovich is a writer and illustrator that is admired by kids and adults. When she was 8 years old, she became a princess with a sense of humor...
hmmm.... :-)
Anyway - since she's writing and reading (and even enjoys it!) since ever, I was inspired to create the pile of books (I saw it on cards in few versions)...
The frame was done with different rolls of washi tapes.
What do you think?

I want to share another layout I created using my February counterfeit kit: this time the layout focuses on Yaara's new eyeglasses... We went to buy her new glasses, not expecting the number to be changed, just wanted to get her new pair in order for her to be able to have more colors to fit with her clothes...
But - we found out that she now needs for both close & far... Anyway - This is the layout, and she was happy to see that I used the googly eyes for the title :-)
Here are the other 4 layouts I created and published already:
1. Laughing
2. Who's the Criminal?
3. Girl in a Basket
4. Who is a doll?
Thanks for visiting - will love to read your comments... :-)

Hmmm.... Back again?
I waited for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog to publish their April kit... and Immediately I started to choose the papers for this month's layouts & cards. Hopefully I'll be able to create a lot, but I can't promise anything...
Anyway - this is the kit I chose, inspired by the colors & patterns:
And here's my first layout, inspired by sketch #88 @ sketchabilities:
And few close-ups:

New Layout: Who is a doll?

This layout was inspired by a sketch I got in a multimedia message from a friend.
The layout fits the 2nd challenge of the counterfeit challenges blog: use speech bubbles. I kept thinking - what did she think about when I took the pictures... I asked her what could she think about (7 1/2 years ago LOL) and even asked my husband... but I didn't get any good idea... Eventually I decided that my husband will "speak" - Who's a doll? :-) Yaara is, of course!
4th layout using my February counterfeit kit:
1. Laughing
2. Who's the Criminal?
3. Girl in a Basket
This month also - there is a lot of satisfaction by challenging myself: creating more & more layouts using the same papers / elements and varying the style with different embellishments...
What do you think? :-)

Today i finished to crochet my first "rag rug"... It's made of tricot threads. The diameter is ~1m and it's for my girls room. As you can see - they love it (which is the best reward ever!).
Tomorrow, after the apartment will be clean - we'll get rid of their current rug and put the new one :-)
I'm excited!
Would love to read your comments :-)
