On January 3rd I saw a post on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog, challenging the followers to create a layout and be a part of the first blog hop of the year.
The challenge was to create a project using the following ONLY (not including cardstock / pictures / adhesives):
3 patterned papers
3 embellishments
& 3-word title
Here's my take of the challenge:
I feel I repeat myself when I say it again and again but it's a great feeling to utilize the papers I chose - it's the 7th layout using the same papers - and there are still some scraps. Unbelievable!
Other layouts from the same kit: Nice To Meet, Kite, Twist Car Ready, Set, Go! Corn, 2 Years.
And now for the Blog Hop:
If you came from Lucinda Messman's blog - you're in the right place :-)
If you came here and want to start the blog hop from the start - go to the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog
Anyway - the next blog you should "hop" to is Leslie Smith's
Hope you have fun - and I'll be glad if you leave tracks and write a comment :-)

2 Years - Birthday

Another layout inspired by sketch - same as these 2 layouts: (Ready, Set, Go! & Corn). The extra challenge this time was Birthday...
I immediately started to look for birthday pictures, and found few.
This picture was taken on July 2008 - Mor was having her 2nd birthday at the kindergarten.
This layout was made (again) using the counterfeit kit - and I'm so pleased I persist using the kit and trying to maximize the scraps. Other layouts: Nice To Meet, Kite, Twist Car - and the 2 above (Ready, Set, Go! & Corn)).
This is the sketch:
What do you think?
Would LOVE to read your comments :-)

Another private sketch challenge, by Zehavit (like the Corn layout). This time, the extra challenge was not to use washi tape.
The truth is that this sketch was real challenge for me. After cutting the pictures I tried to twist it, turn it, try to do something, and then I quit. It didn't feel right...
I thought maybe I should create a card.... But that didn't work too...
So I waited a few days and then started to build this layout - and I'm surprisingly happy with the result :-)
Another use of my counterfeit kit (same for: Nice To Meet, Kite, Corn, Twist Car) - this time I used my I-Top, which I haven't used for a long time, in order to create the big brad - it reminded me of the flair post they had over there...
This is the sketch:

I'm so glad. Another layout...
Today Israel is partially covered in snow... Not a usual situation for us... Jerusalem, Dimona and Golan Heights.... But I chose a "summer-y" picture to scrap with.
I used the same counterfeit kit I used for these layouts:
1. Nice To Meet
2. Kite
3. Corn
It's nice - using the same papers more and more, trying to invent myself with each layout - use the same colors / materials but get varied results!
What do you think?
I appreciate your comments :-)

Following my kite post, I was challenged by Zehavit to create more layouts... She prepared a sketch for me, and challenged me to avoid black. Any kind of black - matting / inking / journaling....
I challenged myself to use the counterfeit kit I started with, to create the kite layout & the "nice to meet" layout...
Anyway - this is the sketch:

It's been a while...
I wanted to create a layout for a while now, but finally was able to do it...
I took the sketch from "Yotzot's" challenge #11 - with the minimalism concept and created this layout.
I used the papers from a counterfeit kit I created about 2-3 months ago (and didn't use so far) - same as this layout, and one more, which will be published by the end of the month.
I appreciate your comments :-)
I hope to post more often...
