New layout: Insect - דף מעוצב חדש: אמאלה חרק

לפני כמה חודשים יערה יצרה את החרק החמוד הזה מ"פיסולי" ובאה אלי "מבוהלת": אמא, חרק!!

השבוע בשלוש בשלישי האתגר היה שילוב הצבעים: צהוב, כחול, ורוד וחום. האמת? בהתחלה לא חשבתי שזה שילוב מוצלח והתחלתי לחפש דפים שיכולים איכשהו להתאים... אני בטוחה שחברותיי לצוות העיצוב הכינו דוגמאות יפות לא פחות...

אז מה אתן אומרות על החרק? מפחיד, נכון? :-)

Few months ago Yaara created this cute insect. Then she came to me "panic" yelling: Mommy, insect!!! This week's challenge at Tuesday Trio was this color combination: yellow, blue, pink & brown. At first I didn't think this combo can be nice, but I'm sure you'll see other great examples of the other DT members... What do you think about Yaara's insect? Scary? LOL

New cake: Smurfs - עוגת בצק סוכר: דרדסים

התבקשתי להכין עוגת בצק סוכר לתומר ומור ("מור הבן", לא מורקי שלי :-)). כאן אפשר לראות את העוגה שהכנתי שנה שעברה לתומר. אני מודעת לזה שלא ממש הצלחתי עם הפרופורציות, אבל הם עדיין חמודים ואני מקווה שהילדים יאהבו אותה. תומר ומור לומדים עם מורקי בגן, אבל גם יערה מוזמנת (האחיות של תומר ומור, רתם ויובל, לומדות עם יערה בכיתה). מזל טוב ילדודס!!

I was asked to create a fondant cake to Tomer & Mor (not my Mor :-)). Last year I made the cake you can see here for Tomer. They asked for the smurfs. The proportions are not very good here, but I hope they will like it. Both Yaara & Mor (mine) are invited... Happy Birthday boys!

New layout: Snail - דף מעוצב חדש: השבלול

אחת ממתנות יום ההולדת של אורן היתה עציץ פורח שהונח על גבי אופניים דקורטיביים. כמה ימים אחרי שהמתנה קישטה את הסלון - גילינו על הרצפה קונכיה. לקחנו אותה ושמנו על צלחת חד פעמית והתחלנו לטפטף לאט לאט... השבלול התחיל לצאת ולטייל על הצלחת. הבנות התרגשו ושמחו :-) אחרי שהסתכלנו, חקרנו והתלהבנו, ירדנו לגינה ושחררנו אותו על עלה, בתקווה שיהיו לו חיים טובים.

הדף עוצב בהשראת סקיצה חמודה - אחרי תקופה של יובש > אני מתכוונת לעשות ולהספיק יותר, זה עושה לי טוב!

מה דעתכן?

Oren got a plant for his birthday and few days later we found a snail shell on the floor. we picked it up, put it on a plate and dropped water on it... the snail came out and the girls were happy. When we finished looking and exploring, we took it down and put it on a leaf in the garden, hoping it will have a happy life :-)

The layout was inspired by sketch #130 @ Unscripted Sketches.

New layout: We went on a trip - דף מעוצב חדש: לטיול יצאנו

לפני כ-3 שנים יצאנו לטייל בגשרים התלויים בנשר. מור היתה איתי, על הגב, במנשא. נהנינו מאד ואני מצטערת שאנחנו לא מטיילים יותר... בחרתי את התמונה הזאת עבור סקיצה #91 של שלוש בשלישי - האתגר היה משהו מוגבה. הגבהתי את אחד העננים ואת הפרח. אני מאד אוהבת את הרעיון של שילוב 2 פונטים בכותרת - קסם שימושי ו-thickers ש"עברתתי" לצורך העניין. אם כבר יש לי כמה חבילות שלהם - למה לא להשתמש?

איזה כותרות אתן עושות? בעברית או באנגלית? אם בעברית, אותיות מקוריות או מעוברתות? תכתבו לי :-)

3 years ago we went on a trip, to see the hanging bridges next to Nesher. I carried Mor on my back and it was fun! We should do it more often! I chose this picture for sketch #91 @ Tuesday Trio - the challenge was "something raised" and I raised one of the clouds and the flower. I love the 2 fonts title - 1 is "pure Hebrew" (Kesem Art) and the other is transformed letters by Thickers, thinking if I have some of these, I might use them, right?

New layout: Torah party - דף מעוצב חדש: מסיבת תורה

לפני כמה חודשים (תחילת יוני), לקראת סיום כתה א', יערה ובני השכבה חגגו מסיבת תורה, בה קיבלו את ספר התורה. המורות הפיקו מסיבה, הילדים שרו, רקדו, דיקלמו וההורים צילמו והיו עסוקים בלהיות גאים ☺

מאד רציתי שההזמנה למסיבה תהיה חלק מהדף. חתכתי את התמונות וסידרתי אותן על הדף, וביניהן הוספתי דפים של Crafting Jewish Style. על מנת "לשבור" את מראה המלבני של הדף השתמשתי בפאנץ' לחיתוך חצי עיגול בשני מלבנים סמוכים והוספתי עיגולים מוגבהים במקומות האלה (תמונה שווה אלף מילים > קשה לי להסביר ☹).

הם שרו את השיר: "אלוהים נתן לך במתנה", אז כתבתי ✎ את המילים על הדף, והגבהתי את המילה "והיום", כי כמו שרואים באחת התמונות > יערה הרימה את השמש...

אז מה דעתכן?

Few months ago, at the end of first grade, my daughter (Ya'ara) had a Torah party: the first graders started to learn Torah. The teachers produced a party, the kids danced, sang - and the parents we busy in taking pictures & be proud ☺

It was important to me to add the invitation, so I chose a "blocks" technique, to fill the gaps. In order to add more interest in the layout, I punched half circles from 2 close papers, and added a smaller circle "inside".

It was a fun layout to make, no doubt about it. What do you think?
